Brackenblaze snarled, "Why don't you just leave, Birchfall? You left us, and once you leave with your new clan, you're never coming back."

A look of hurt flashed in Birchfall's eyes. You could just about see how it hurt him inside. He turned away.

Brackenblaze's clouded eyes flashed with anger and he growled, "You can't make everything better by coming back to say hello," he growled and stalked away.

Heartclaw shrugged, "My life really hasn't, i mean, i don't remember much of the bad things that have happened." He looked around the camp. He saw three of Kestrelstar's kits talking to eachother. He want to ask Brichfall how Lionblaze was.

Birchfall slowly looked at his sister. "I-I g'ess I shou'd jus' leave, then." Birchfall's voice wavered with pain, his eyes wet from tears. Birchfall felt tears begin to well up in his eyes again before running down his muzzle.

"Hey Birchfall!" the injured warrior called to the young tom cat. Heartclaw waved his brindle tail.

Birchfall turned at the sound of Heartclaw. "Yeah?" He called back.
