He stood still as Winter stood and leaned on him, then began moving forward, slowly so she would keep next to him. As they passed some of the dogs, he avoided their gaze, wanting nothing else to do with them tonight.

Anna stepped aside and watched as her owner got into the truck and sped off. She felt like she should go help them get the dogs back. She stood there, watching the truck disappear, the sun was setting... it would be dark soon. They were going to need help. She turned and began running after the truck. Her long legs taking great bursts to catch up.

When they made it to camp he led Winter over to where Amelia was. He stopped a little off to the side, waiting for her to get comfortable. "I wonder what this meeting is about..." he said a bit sarcastically, knowing most likely the dogs where going to be in for a surprise when the majority healed.
