"I've never seen him like this before but I haven't been in the clan long. But I have heard that you should leave him when he's in a temper", Squirrelpaw said,"I guess he feels like an outsider since he's half wolf among cats. I understand that feeling".

Hollythorn stood to her paws, her black fur streaked with red,she kept her blue eyes down and kept her left hind leg off the ground and began to limp around, seding him much pressure she could put on each paw. She hopped towards Snowflight,"You OK? Mouse brained question....but hey, we're alive, that's something. Sunrise sent that beast packing". Hollythorn then starts to hobbled on three legs, back to camp.

Wolfspirit padded around, sniffing the air. He saw the claw marks he inflicted a few moons back. He sighed and kept going, beckoning with his tail for the patrol to follow. Then he saw wolves, having a quick rest and drink. He smiled, glad to see the wolves. It was Hudson and Edme, two of his best friends in the pack. "Hud! Ed!" He called and padded up. "Come on guys." He called and smiled.

"Wolfspirit!" They barked happily. Then slowed, giving yips and barks of joy. "How is the Clan?" Hudson asked.

"They are doing fine. How are you two? Sunrise? Pups?" He asked.

"They are all well. Sunrise made it to her title, Whisperer." Edme smiled. "Also, exciting news for us." Hudson smiled and looked warm at mate, "Edme is expecting."

Wolfspirit beamed. "Life in the pack is growing! That's wonderful news!"

Gingerpelt and Squirrelpaw watched silently, not wanting to disturb one of the few chances that their clan mate had a chance to speak with his old friends.

Loki sighed. "Edme, your expecting pups. You shouldn't..." He trailed off as he saw his father. "Father!" He beamed and ran to Wolfspirit.

"Where's your brother?" He asked.

"Back with the pack, as usual. He was appointed Healer last week." He reported. Wolfspirit beamed.

"My sons, growing up. Same as your siblings. Though they are still smaller." He admitted. "It's time for them to be apprentices soon."

"I smell squirrel." Loki barked. His bleak brown eyes were towards Squirrelpaw then up at the trees. Wolfspirit grew nervous that Loki would say Squirrelpaw was covered in the stench, but relaxed as his son have up. "I wish we can visit." Loki admitted. Wolfspirit grew an idea. "Golden and Silver want to visit their mother. Why don't you and... Well. Maybe Jim- I mean, Healer, if he can come to the camp and Golden and Silver go to back to pack?" He suggested. Edme nodded. "I can take care of them." Wolfspirit shook his head.

"They can hunt. They're that age where they need to grow up instead stay pups. Whisperer will understand that." He barked.

"Yes, sir." Edme called Wolfspirit, "sir" as if he was still the alpha. Hudson nodded as well. "I'll report that to Moonstar. Tell them we have guests." He barked. Loki nodded. "Let's go. I'll tell Whisperer and ask Healer if we can." He said. The three wolves nodded their heads to the cats and walked back to their pack. Edme walked slowly, since she was expecting and her mate, Hudson kept lecturing her and watching over her like a pup and mother. Wolfspirit smiled and turned back around. "We are still ok. Nothing bad over here. Now... Let's go back." He meowed.

Squirrelpaw watched the wolf watch her and then watched them turn away. "Back?" she questioned. "Alright..."

Gingerpelt nodded back at the wolves but stayed silent then smiled at Wolfspirit. "I guess I don't have to ask, your pups are doing great."

He nodded. "Thank you, Gingerpelt." He smiled and padded back to camp, tail up and ears perked up.
