"Vanilla, watch out!" Is Bane's yell as he runs to her side, trying to beat the incredible speed of the eagle. His eyes widened in shock as the talons spread to snatch up his mate, when a blur out of nowhere launched itself at the eagle, slamming it into the ground and starting a fight with it.

Shadow let out a screetch when the talons of the eagle raked his belly, but his own claws where sharper and faster. Besides, he wasn't about to let it get away and kill his tribe! Slashing at the underbelly, he moved in and snapped the large bird's neck, the wings moving to a slow stop. Once it was dead, Shadow removed himself from the bird and growled at the intruders,
"You two shouldn't be out in the open at this time of day. Hunting time. You'll attract eagles." He says, flicking his tail towards Bane pointedly. "And you won't be able to protect your mate, mate. With those small muscles, flimsy claws. You're not trained to take on birds, stick to what you know." He growls, looking to Vanilla. "And you! With your stomach you should be with your 'medicine cat' or the Stone Teller. You're going to kit outside and the smell will attract more birds. You'll be vulture food." He scolds, cross that he had to hurt himself to protect mousebrains.

Vanilla flattened her ears in annoyance, who was this cat to tell her what to do? She growled, and struggled forward; "You have no right!" She was still trembling from the eagle attack, and growled ever so slightly. She arched her back, but her belly pulled her back down. She was panting and she lurched back inside the den and propped her belly awkwardly.

Water that runs down cliff leaped down next to Shadow, sighing; "We can take you back to our cave if you like? We can promise you mate a safe birth"

Cat appearance: She is a creamy-almost pinking-with goldish-ness pelted kit. She has short legs and is tinyer than any other kit. She has long fur and a long, plumy tail. Her eyes are - one is gold-green, the other is blue-gold.

Vanilla sighed, and stalked out of the back entrance. She smelled cats that she had before, she growled as she recognized the scent of loners, she couldn't fight, and because Bane was busy, couldn't do much about it.

Two male cats who have traveled far together after the pair of cats, one an expectant she-cat climb down the narrow way and offer smiles meant to be reassuring. "Hello." says Sun sweetly, placing a vole before the cat who they have seen but know she doesn't know them. "My name is Sun, this is my brother Fallen; we were wondering if perhaps we might join the Clan you are forming with your mate called Bane, Vanilla? We would guard and hunt, heal and track and aid in whichever way needed." says the Golden Tom.

The silvery one comes forward, silently and deposits a bundle of herbs. "These are for milk and for your uncomfortableness." he says in that too-soft way of his before stepping back a pace - keeping keen eyes searching for Bane and thus danger.

Vanilla shuffled awkwardly an d looked at the two toms, they were both handsome, she had to give them that, but she didn't want to promise anything with out talking to Bane. But these cats were big and strong and could promise safety... she forced out a weak purr and meowed in reply; "Thank you, you are very kind, and thank you for the food and herbs..." She flushed as she realised howobvious her pregnancy was. "Well... why don't you go make yourselves home in our cave, until we find somewhere better to build a camp?" She meowed.

Two pairs of eyes that are shaped the same peer from faces that only slightly vary and then as one the brothers flick their ears and nod their heads as smiles touch their lips. "We understand, however, we will return at dusk to this place. Or perhaps dawn, whichever would be better for you and he." says Sun as they back up a half-pace together. Fallen smiles shyly and then turns and dissapears from sight like he had never existed - the tom is obscenely good at that; but the other remains where he stands, awaiting an answer.

Vanilla dipped her head, "we will be waiting at Dusk. She needed , lying down in the shade and nibbling on the vile.

Shadow moved backwards without a word, watching the two new toms approach. One stronger than the other, but not build for mountain fighting like he was. A huff escaped him as he listened to the cats offer to form a 'clan'. Whatever that was, he didn't like the sound of it. Not in his Tribe's territory. Shadow that Flickers in Stars knew he'd have to report back to Stone Teller. He looked to his she cat companion.

"Water, we leave now. They do not require our assistance, and will be met with hostility until we recieve further notice from Stone Teller." He says, walking past Water and softly flicking her with his tail, before leaping up onto a low branch and disappearing in the trees. He preffered it to the ground.

Bane watched two new cats appeared, relaxing a bit when he recognized Sun. Opening his mouth to speak, he was once again cut off by Vanilla and his ears went flat against his head in annoyance as she promised to think about it. Of course they would be clan cats! Wait... He looked at Vanilla, then at the toms, then back at Vanilla. Was she checking them out?? Seriously, he's standing right here and she's looking at them like that! Fury built up in his chest like a beat about to strike before he turned and walked into the den, preffering to ignore it completely. It seemed like she had problems remaining faithful, plus the disregard for her life. That rouge could have torn her to pieces faster than the eagle! Humph!

Fawn's ears flicked slightly upward, shifting her weight in her paws. She... was lost. She had told Sun she was bad at directions and scents! But of course he didn't believe her... just because I can track herbs, doesn't mean I can track scents, guys! She thought to herself, jumping when a small bird flew over her, causing her to squeak in surprise and retreat up the nearest tree, fur standing on edge. I am so useless... She thought to herself, looking at the ground below her in terror. To try and calm her nerves, she spoke aloud to herself quietly.
"'Lets go to the mountains' he says, 'it'll be safer to start a clan there' he says. 'Of course you can track a cat scent Fawn, youre a natural!' He says..." She mutters, not really meaning it at all but it made her feel a bit better.

Vanilla blinked and turned around to Banes infuriated gaze. Her heart sank. She waved her plume like tail, she began to pad back towards him, shuffling her paws awkwardly as she did so. Her breath felt tight in her chest. The two toms scents had been... seductive, but she had tried not to fall into their scentive spell. She bristled when she heard the tribe cats words; "Why don't you just get outta here! I can look after myself fine! And If I have any problem with my kits, Bane or some other cats will help me!" Her tail lashed, and she bared her white teeth. Crème tabby pelt bristling.

Water glanced at Shadow quickly, she gave a curt nod to show that she agreed with him. Blinking, she saw two toms speak to the she-cat, and offer her food and herbs. She frowned. When she saw the look on Banes face as he watched, she felt awkward as a rabbit in a hares den. Ducking her head, she bounded up the rock wordlessly.

Stoneteller gazed at the reflection that lay in the water, Mist... He thought softly. She was mewing something urgently, but no words came. He blinked, and pushed his ear up against the water.
