Ivy shrugged. "I guess we just wait for the rest of them to get here, and then wait until they bring out the food. I wish they'd hurry though," she said.

Niami made a noise in agreement to Ivy, "mmm yes food"

Nova nodded, "okay then"

Miles sighs. "The wait is going to be the death of meeeee~" He groans.

Mikaelan

Mika quietly moves toward the kitchen, her pace quick. She thinks of the guests already at the table, especially the big male, and her movement quickens further; she hopes they are patient.

Nova follows after Mika quietly thinking

Ivy shifted in her seat impatiently. "I'm not that impatient usually, but right now I'm super ready to eat," she said.

Miles & Mikaelan

Mika steps into the room just in time to catch Miles' complaint and turns red. "S-sorry for the delay." She whispers breathlessly, moving toward the kitchen. She whispers something, her voice shaking like a leaf in the wind, before moving back into the hall. "It's be right out." She announces, her voice slightly squeaky. She's clearly shaken, though Miles' comment was harmless. "Hey, uh, don't worry about it, hun." Miles says, his voice surprisingly soft. "Don't kick yourself over it..." He mutters.

"Good going. You scared her," Ivy scolded him. She turned to the small native girl. "Don't mind him, he wouldn't hurt anyone here," she said kindly.

Miles & Mikaelan

Miles chuckled at this, but he didn't speak out. He figured he'd already terrified the girl enough. Mika moves to her chair and sits, speaking quietly. "I am sorry for the delay. I meant no disrespect in causing your wait." She lowers her eyes to the table. Miles rubs his neck; he feels genuinely... bad, for having frightened the girl. "I complain at everything." He offers awkwardly.

"Really, it's okay," Ivy assured the girl. "He does complain about everything, and we were, um...hunting earlier, so he's just hungrier than usual."

"True~" Miles concurs, nodding his head enthusiastically. Mika nods slowly. "I assure you you will wait no longer." As she says so, as if on cue, the servers enter wielding mountains of pastel food.
