I glanced back, seeing that some of the owners were grabbing leashes and hopping into the truck. "Oi, we're taking a short cut!" I barked, cutting a sharp right and leaping into the field to the right of the road, a tall wheat field. My golden coat blended nicely into the ever swaying grain, the setting sun not helping the human with visibility.
