"Ashclaw?" Owlstar gasped with disbelief. "Take me to them, immediately." He mewed, a slight concerned edge to his tone. His impatience bubbled up, and he set off into a brisk trot, ignoring Amberheart if she tried to stop him. Following the faint scent, the striped tom veered after it, eyes narrowed.

He grunted, grabbed her by the scruff and set her by the bank. "Don't move." He said, cleaning out her paw as his own bled. He got some loose cobwebs and wrapped it up.

Sparkstep looked at the tom gratefully. "Thank you..." She said trailing off limping over to him and giving him a light lick on his cheek.

Sparkstep let out a grunt as he spoke of camp. "What camp? Because clearly there is a stupid clan with a kittypet rolling around in it." She said bitterly thinking of Silverdawn.

Sparkstep looked down at the ground then at the tom. "Are you alright?" She said worriedly. She didn't want to see him get hurt.
