Doe sat on the fence, looking out over the forest. She sighed. Doesn't he know we need to stuck together? She glanced back at Jad. "Do you think he'll ever be back?"

Diamond traveled quietly through the forest, in search of the clan.

Flamefur flicked his ears, "Yea, i know. Ho'w're Snowstep an' Longwhisker doing?"

"Hiya," she repeated. "Melodykit, Shadowkit, you need to sleep now."

"But mom!" Shadowkit squeaked.

Thundercloud flicked his tail, "She's right, you're not even a moon old yet, you need to rest while your still young enough to."

Brightcloud nodded. "Come, now."

Thundercloud flicked his tail in goodbye and padded out of the nursery.

Heartclaw was curled up in the nest in the medicine, even though he was wide awake.
