The world is falling apart. Packs are separating. Wolves are dying and prey is becoming harder and harder to find. Fires are starting, floods are wiping the lands clean, earthquakes are splitting territories apart, diseases are spreading, and humans are hunting packs one by one. During this chaos, two packs have managed to hold together. They are both aware of the other but do not see the devastation that is rising just beyond their borders. The two packs are far enough away from the chaos that nothing extreme has pushed into their land. However, at any moment, their territories can fall apart and separate the packs.

Thє Mountαin Pαck

The mountain pack members are wolves that dedicate themselves to the pack. They fight together, trust eachother, and care for one another. Most respect the alphas and higher ranking members but there are some rebels in the pack. The mountain pack live on a peacful mountain side, they have a few open areas and streams. However, floods are extremely rare. The territory is close to humans and diseases sometimes spread throught the mountains. Larger carnivores aren't common but they may pass through on occasion. Fires on the other hand, are very common. Earthquakes have not happened yet but it could be very likely that in the future, the Mountain Pack could see an earthquake. If this happens, it would be extremly dangerous and could change the entire territory completely.

The wolves here vary from heartless ones to sweet and lovable wolves. Some are selfesh while others only care about their packmates. River Pack wolves are very different from one another but that is what brings them together. The territory is very open and has a lot of boulders and cliffs. Rivers are easy to find and floods are very common. Fires and humans are not a big concern. Diseases are extremely rare and an earthquake wouldn't be a big problem. But a landslide would start a disaster and could even destroy the entire pack. River Pack's dens are normally under large boulders and cliffs are spread out along the pack's territory. This is because large carnivores usually snoop around the territory for either a meal or a drink in a river. Bears and cougars are very common in the River Pack.

Loners

Either a former member of a pack or born without one, these wolves have to face the deadly disasters on their own. Loners aren't well liked by other packs but aren't hated. Some may be accepted into other packs but others like to be alone. Most know about the dangers around the territory and try to find refuge. Loners are normally cold-hearted and they are more perspective than pack members. They have to be quick on their feet or become another victim of natural selection.

Hey, I'm Aleck. The Beta Male of the Mountain Pack. Quite a title, don't you think? If you want to know a little more about me, nothing about me is hard to find out. I'm outgoing and like to talk. I give a lot of respect to females and higher ranking members. I follow commands well and give them just as effectively. However, I hate fights and I will try to split them up, even if I need to get involved. This is because of my past. I don't mind telling you a bit about it. My life started as a pup and I grew up normally with my older brother and younger sister. Everything went well, until I was older. My father began to get into fights with my mother, she wouldn't fight back but he would bite her and mock her. My siblings and I were silent through the fights and my older brother, Sear, began to act like my father. He tried to attack and tease my little sister but I would stop him. Raven and I were inseperable since that day. She looked up to me like an Alpha and I guided her through most of her life. Everything went well until my parents began to fight again. We waited for the fight to end, but it only got worse. My father pinned my mother to the floor and grabbed her throat. My little sister, Raven got up and begged my father to stop. It didn't work. I couldn't stand and watch any longer. My rage set in and I leaped at my father's back. My fangs dug into his flesh and he let loose an engraged snarl. My father bit into my neck and threw me off. I stood back up and watched my father closely, my head and tail was raised. I would not tolerate any more of this. He walked up to me and bared his fangs, I could tell he wanted to kill me but my mother pleaded to let me go. My father hesitated but finally came to a decision. I was exiled from my family pack, I had to fend for myself. It didn't take too long before I found the Mountain Pack. I was greatful and after long years of hunting and scouting, I was premoted Beta. To this day, I have been in the Mountain Pack. Leading those who need me.

I am Strider, Alpha of the River Pack. Being an alpha, I hold lots of responsibilities and that includes taking care of my pack. Normally, I'm cool-headed and I act calmly towards harsh situations, but if a loner or a wolf from another pack threatens one of my members, I get tense and act quickly. Traitors will be shown no mercy, not because I'm cruel but because of the saftey of my pack. Other than that, others may back-talk about me, act dominant towards me but I could care less. I would warn them to watch where they tread but those actions do not get under my skin. I treat every member with respect and though, some alphas hate and abuse lower ranking members. I accept them and show compassion. Other alphas hate me for this but that is how I was raised. I founded this pack after a tragic accident my family was envolved in. Thus, giving me the fear I have today. My pup family was kind and soft hearted towards everyone, but a fire started on our homeland. Only I managed to escape. It has been years since then but I still keep my family in my mind and in my heart.

Hello, I am Alegra. Pleased to meet you. There isn't much to know about me besides, I am friendly, outgoing, and I do have a fiery personality at times. Yeah, I don't mind company or being alone much so I tend to be both. If you were wondering why my parent and sibling status are unknown, ask. My name is Luna. I may be fearsome and hold my ground strongly but don't think I'm heartless. I might be cold-hearted at times but don't be quick to judge. I also keep a close watch on the packs, this is because I like to listen and see who everyone is, the way they act, talk, who they're friends with. It is a simple matter of protection for myself. Personality: Personality, I would probably let you find out for yourself but if you really want to know I can't stop you from knowing. I'm not very trusting of others, betrayal would do that to you as well. I enjoy my freedom, and won't listen to anyone who tries to command me. I swear allegiance to no one but myself. I am very stubborn, and I will not tolerate much. I dislike the pack wolves, and distrust them majorly. They can turn on you in a second, I would know. They also tend to think less of the loners, yet again I would know. I am a fighter if anything, and will easily start a fight if needed. I am unkind to others, until they get to know me. But don't count on ever getting to know me, because I won't get close to others. I am closed off, and silent. I mostly keep to myself, a lot, maybe all the time.

History: My history? Not much to tell, I was the alpha's son. The youngest son, in a litter of four. Of course, my two sisters are younger then I am. So, I was the second born. My older brother and I, we were always play fighting. Much to my mothers dislike, but it helped us become stronger. One day, my father took us out hunting. I enjoyed the escape from the pack, and it wasn't until after we found a herd that I realized maybe hunting with the pack would have been best. I ran for the closest doe, my brother falling behind. I was the fastest between us, I was agile and quick for my size. The herd grew closer, but the doe saw us and jumped up. Alerting the rest of the herd, and the buck. Now, we were a danger to the herd. The buck knew that, and now both my brother and I were in danger. My father jumped in the way of the buck, and I howled as it came closer. My father met it half way, and the buck was quick to lower it's head and charge. My father was injured and my brother had ran back to the pack, the herd had moved on. I crept closer to my father, and sat beside him howling sadly. The pack found us soon enough, me covered in my fathers blood as I lay beside his dead body. My mother wouldn't look at me, and my brother was smirking in a wolf-ish way. I was blamed for my fathers death and was kicked out of the pack, my brother had said that I killed him. My brother had become the new alpha and so the rest of the pack listened to him, my mother did nothing but avoid eye contact with me as I fled. I had become a loner, and even now I still am.

Personality: I am a stubborn wolf, but it pays off. I don't let others walk all over me, and would rather die than let that happen. I am a strong warrior and an even stronger hunter, so I guess living my life as a loner had payed off. I bow down to my Alpha, Beta, and Delta only. So the others better not hope for much, living with three older brothers has taught me that I don't need to bow down because I'm a girl. It taught me to fight my way to the top, and that's exactly what I am going to do.

History: I was the only girl in a little of 4 pups, my mother was a loner when I was born. She taught us how to survive on our own, how to hunt, important things. I would always fight with my three brothers, with me being the youngest and the only girl I needed to show the boys where I stood. Between fighting with my brothers, and my mother teaching us how to survive I started to become the leader in our small family. My hunting skills and my fighting skills were better than my brothers, and well I got the respect I deserved. Too soon though, I was no longer a pup. I turned and left my family behind, and soon stumbled upon a Pack. Now lets see if I can handle it.

Personality: I am Stubborn, and will only back down when it came to the Alpha's and Beta's of my pack. I only want the best for my pack, So I guess you could say I'm loyal. I would do anything to make sure my pack is safe, and I am really easy to irritate. So a fair warning, If you do irritate me be prepared for the worst. I rely on both strength and speed, but would normally stay and fight then run and bail.

History: I was raised as the Alpha's son in my old pack, my father died when I was still to young to take up the position. My mother had left me to fend for myself and the rest of the pack for a while, I guess she didn't realized that I was still a pup. A rouge came onto our lands, and I being the Alpha however young I was tried to defend my pack without a fight. Well this was when my mother had decided that the pack still needed her and came out of our den, the rouge backed off but my mother had decided he could stay in the pack. After a while of me fighting with her about that, she brought up that she was still the alpha and her word would always be held over mine. I left that night, no reason for me to stay even though I was the one who kept the pack going when she abandoned us all.

Personality: I am childish and playful, but what do you expect I am only a pup after all. I love to run around outside, and play with others. I can be what the other wolves call stubborn, well at least that's what I have been told. I am easily angered, but it blows away quickly. I am easy to forgive as the others say it. But I have been slightly distant since the night my mother died and I lost my siblings, and I remember it all the time.

History: I was the youngest of my four siblings, my mother was a loner and I have never met my father. After we were able to walk I always would pounce on my brothers and sister, always wanting to play. Mum taught us how to hunt and fight, but after a hunting trip everything changed. My mother told us to hide, and as we sat in the bushes another wolf jumped out at her. After a while, my mother had fallen to the ground. I watched as the other wolf snapped her neck, saw the life fade from her eyes. My brothers ran out, and I watched as they were taken away by the other wolf. I only had my sister left in my family and so I tried to stay with her, but she told me to leave. And that night I did, now I ended up in Pack territory.

Personality: Well, I am quite easy-going but I will still fight for what I want. I am loyal to my pack, and I would risk myself to save my pack at all costs. I can be slightly playful, when I am with the pups. I enjoy running around, and hunting. My rank works out in my favour, because I have the ability to run around the territory to find prey to bring back to camp. I am very trusting, until someone does something to ruin their trust with me. It's hard to gain trust back, and I will make sure that they know that in the end of the ordeal.

History: I was born into a litter of 4, the second oldest. I have one brother and two sisters, an older brother all the others are younger. We were the Beta's pups, and my brother would have taken the position when my father died. I was taught how to fight and hunt, by my father. But after his death, I couldn't swear allegiance to my brother. Not after I seen him throw our youngest sister into a rock because she wouldn't obey him. So, I left and stumbled across another pack. Now, I am a hunter in a pack who's alpha I can trust.

Icarus is an overall listener. He doesn't like getting into the conversations. Though he is the beta male of the River pack, he can be anxious and anticipatory, but that goes to his advantage. He likes to plan: what will go wrong? What could we avoid? That's why he is a tactition and planner, and is great at strategy.
Icarus is usually quet when he isn't planning with other wolves. He does like to listen to other opinions, but will usually deny it right away if there are any flaws.

Icarus was concieved by two hunters, Noahniel and Hera. He grew up as a cautious pup, and sitll is today. Most are skeptikal of how he even became beta, but they don't complain.
Before he was beta, he was a hunter. He wasn't very good at it, but his parents both wanted him to follow in their footsteps.
