Heronleap watched her patiently, his tail still. He blinked at her, this his ears lifted up as she finally spoke. Initially he felt simple confusion. "What? Who is your father? He's not a Clan cat, is he?" the white tom meowed, his eyes darkening and his head tilting to the side in puzzlement. He didn't know anything about Swiftsong's family, so they could very well be in the Clan, though he was leaning towards the notion that they weren't. "How do you know?"

Rookstream looked at the Brackenstorm, her eyes shining. Leaning over the pool of water she quickly darted her paw in and dragged out a fish. "The key is to not let the fish see your shadow. And move quickly" She said, her green eyes shining.

"I lived with my mother, father and sister when I was younger. He murdered my mother and sister. I tried to kill him...and he faked death. I came to Iceclan...and he has tried to kill me since." She replied.

The tom flicked his tail uneasily. "We should warn Hazelstar, then." he murmured seriously, gazing at the tabby she-cat. He shifted back and forth on his paws, and glanced around. "Is he a rogue wandering around here? When was the last time you saw him?" Heronleap asked, wanting to know as much as possible so he could help keep Swiftsong safe.

He purred, and nodded, He stared into the water, and lashed out his paw into the water. Instead of hooking uo a fish, he landed into the water, splashing.

Hazelstar
She stood up, her ears pricking. She listened around for any sound of danger.

Rookstream smiled and jumped in after him. Swimming beside him she tried to see if he needed any help.

He resurfaced, choking and out of breath, He struggled to the side, and laid there panting, wincing a bit with each intake of breath,
