He followed after Kestrelflame and noticed Flamewing. " Someone looks happy. " He smiled, clearly fake. His disappointment is always noticeable, along with his other feelings.

"That you and Riverstorm are mates an having kits?" She replied automatically.

She was taken back. "Er, sort of! Riverstorm and I are mates now, but right now, kits... I'm not pregnant. I want to be on my toes, and kits might be in the way of my duties as deputy... But I want them, I would love being the mother to Riverstorm's kits." She sighed, embarrassingly shuffling her paws. She looked up at Flintfoot. "You seem.... Down. Are you alright?"

Sootcloud couldnt stop racking her mind about kits, leafbare, and most of all Flamewing. Shes just making other cats feel bad, bad for Riverstorm. She sneered to herself, No normal cats go around screaming they have a mate. she snarled, curling back around in her nest, hunger overwhelming her deciding to ignore it, she rested her head on the edge of her nest. If she has kits, my kits are goign to learn not to like her. she gave a satisfied grunt, before shutting her eyes.

He shook his head. He then looked up at Kestrelflame. " Me and Flamewing will have a word quickly. I'll be back shortly. " He said before touching his nose to her head in farewell. He walked over to the entrance of camp and signaled Flamewing to follow.

She followed Flintfoot closely, casting one more glance at Kestrelflame. Trotting after Flintfoot, she tilted her head slightly. "So..." She asked after a bit. "Are you ok?"

DarkPelt shook her fur and lay under the shade of a leaf-Less tree with a small sigh...

BirchPelt sat next to DarkPelt "What's troubling you?" She looked down towards DarkPelt in surprise

VenomPaw looked over at the water and bounced towards SootCloud quietly... the apprentice lay down cuddling next to her most favored cat in the whole clan. She purred and shut her eyes falling asleep

The she-cat nodded curtly. She knew he would never like her. She had to get away...and fast. She got up, briskly glancing around, and raced out into the forest, whizzing past Flintfoot and Flamewing in a blur. There would be no way they could notice it was her, only her tail showed. She stopped a mile away from camp, sitting down next to a pond, staring at her reflection. She swiped a paw across her reflection, pushing back tears.

He sighed. " No. I just don't know how to tell Kestrelflame that I don't like her right now. " He explained. He then looked at his paws. " It was kinda ruined for me when you became mates with Riverstorm, and I knew you didn't feel the same way. " He continued.
