Re: Mythicarium Chat

Oh gosh, I really don't know. I don't time myself when I'm drawing, and I almost invariably work a little bit at a time over the course of a few days. I also don't have any sense of time passing when I'm drawing or writing.

Looking back at my critique thread, I posted the first 'finished' version on April 8 and opened Mythicarium to sell them on April 30, so a few hours at a time on and off over the course of 22 days. That's the best answer I've got.

With art I think a long time is a relative thing. There are some people who can churn out far more detailed art than I've ever made in just a couple of hours, and others who will spend years perfecting a masterpiece.

I'll try to remember to time myself the next time I do a custom Teamaid order and see how long that takes.

Oh hey, why have I not been here before? :)
I love Mythicarium, but I haven't been around for a while.
I heard something about a new lineart, though? :0

Welcome back. :) Yes, I won a new little beauty from donkeykong's giveaway and I am in the process of converting it to vector art. I've got it set up to have a couple of different options, and all that's left at this point are accessories so it should be available soon.

I'm also still working on the Apatopony, but that's been put on the back burner in favor of getting this new one finished.

Thank you. As usual I'm a bit stuck on the shading, but I posted it for critique so hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

I'm also taking suggestions for other items for the little guys to hold and other options people might want to see for them. I'm not likely to make multiple hair styles, but things like feet, tails, beards, and fluff could all potentially be changeable.

So far the only place I've posted it is the Artist's Army thread. But the good news is that I got someone to help out with the shading, so it shouldn't be too much longer before it's ready for release.

Besides the stick, I'm thinking of also giving them clubs and lanterns to hold, but those may or may not be finished by release.
