He is definitely blind and the mother or father or both probably realized that so they abandoned him since not many want the strain of raising a disabled foal."She trotted back into her bedroom and start multi-tasking with her magic by getting out that old crib of Luna's and setting it up before using a simple spell to dry off the colt and then fixing his mane and tail which were shorter than a female newborns before wrapping him up in a warmer blanket and setting him down in the crib.

Lydia was sat on her bed, her hair almost covering her face completely since it was still wet. But her hair did cover the tears that shere streaming down her face, and she layed down with her front hooves dangling off the side. Sighing, she quickly wiped the tears away and rested her head on her hooves, her hair parting only tl reveal her blue eye, not the green one.
