Cats Of The Clan

Iceclan cats are great jumpers, thick pelted, and have long, sleek bodies. Deputies assign patrol by time of day, and season. Dark pelted cats go put at evening, and night, when the darkness covers them, making them harder to spot. Lighter colored cats, go out at day, with thick undergrowth, and trees, covering their bright colored pelts. Although, Iceclan cats are not a fan of mud, They only use it if they are in danger of an attack, or the weather is cold, or windy.

They aren't a fan of strangers either, they will attack you, no questions asked. After they have defeated the enemy, then they will ask questions. They aren't too patient either, they will stalk you, and then attack. So watch your back!

IceClan cats love heights and are not afraid of falling. They are well practiced with the jarring cliffs and slopes and know where to put their paws.

The first part of the territory is a mixed forest. A sheer cliff overlooks it, with a narrow path being the only way up to the top. At the top, it drops down again into a valley, and across the valley are the mountains IceClan resides amongst


Getting down is impossible from the rocks. To get down, IceClan cats travel along the huge ridge until they get to a small drop into a small section of forest. A stream cuts through here, eventually widening into a river, and then falling over into a waterfall, looking down into the pool below. It's not too far of a drop at this point of the ridge. So what do they do? They scoot down as low as they can get on the cliff... Then they jump.



Upon landing in the waterfall pool they swim to the bank. At the other side of the valley the slopes are somewhat shallower, and no more jumping off cliffs is necessary.

-Fade to black when needed! No one wants to read that stuff!

Clan Rules/Warrrior Code
Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

The large white tom kept his steps slow. He didn't like seeing her so...melancholy. "Are you quite sure?" he murmured, his voice as gentle as he could make it. Heronleap's mismatched gaze rested upon the she-cat calmly, full of concern. He didn't want to press her too hard, but he just didn't like seeing her like this, and he wanted to help.

He easily noticed the look in her eyes, and a small frown appeared over his white muzzle. He came to a complete stop and faced her with his whole body, growing more serious with the movements. He didn't want to push, really he didn't, but he just couldn't stand seeing her this way, and with no way to help her. It was stressful for him to deal with her depressed state and lack knowledge of what was going on. Heronleap glanced down at the ground for a moment, then lifted his gaze and locked eyes with the she-cat. "Honestly...I hate seeing you like this. Please tell me. Something, anything!" he murmured, his voice growing desperate, almost.
