"It sounds like you and Mei had fun growing up together," Ivy said, a hint of sadness in her voice. "I've always wondered what it would be like if I had a sibling, older or younger."

(It's okay! Also to let you know, I start school in a week and I'm really behind on my summer work so I won't be on much until I finish my work and/or school starts.)

Miles shrugs. "We fell out of trees and got hurt, a lot." He frowns at Ivy's sadness, then smiles sheepishly. "At least you missed out on the rivalry, right?"

"Oh I'm not really that upset about it," Ivy said in response to his concern. "I just think it would have been fun. Minus all the fighting that siblings seem to do."

"If you get any better at trapping, Mei and I might adopt you." Miles muses, smirking. "I always wanted a sister that was less likely to kill me."

Ivy smirked. "Oh yes, because today proved just how skilled I am at trapping," she laughed. "Who needs to catch things you can actually eat? And as for me being your sister, who ever said I wouldn't be likely to kill you?"

"Lots of things scarier than you have tried, love." Miles says, shaking his head. "Unless Mei gets a hold of you, I don't think you'll be able to do that for a few years, at least.

Ivy opened her mouth to protest, but realize that it was no use. "Okay," she admitted, "I'm not the greatest fighter to begin with. But, even though I may not succeed, that doesn't mean I won't attempt to kill you."

Miles shrugs. "You can try." He says with a toothy smile. "I don't suggest it, though. I have armor." He thumps his knuckles against the think plate covering his chest; the metallic knock seems to boom through the room. "And unless I'm missing it, you do not."

"Fine, you got me there too," Ivy sighed, after trying and failing to come up with a counter argument. "I guess I won't try to kill you in the near future. But what would you have done if I'd said something crazy, I was the first in a line of super humans that had armored skin?" she said laughing.
