Starfall looked in his eyes. Her own repeated his words.

Dovesong arrived at the lake. She slipped and fell into the water.

Jaywing yowled in alarm.

Dovesong bobbed up, laughing. "Luckily I landed in the shallow part." She then stood up, then water was only up to her shoulders.

Jaywing breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I bet you've scared off all of the fish!"

"What do you mean? I catch fish like this all the time!" Dovesong joked.
