Shovelclawed burrowers generally come in two different shades or tones of one color while their eyes claws and tongues are a completely different color/can be a different color. However, every five designs you've done, you can add a third shade/tone of the color into the mix. Shovelclaws can have up to 4 different tones of the same color, but more than two tones is rare(note shading caused by Airbrush doesn't count to this, but it's preferred that you smooth it out as much as possible to your chosen tone.) -I will add more to this soon. <3
What is a Shovel-clawed burrower?
Shovel- Clawed burrowers, or for short, Shovel claws are insectivorous creatures that are known for their hooked claws and their long cone shaped snouts. As the name describes, a shovel-clawed burrower is a burrowing creature named for its hooked claws that grow with a curve that can sometimes resemble small shovels. Shovel-claws are slow-moving and peaceful creatures that range in size from a pig to a horse. Shovel claws prefer to stand and walk on their hind legs due to their hooked front claws' tendency to cause discomfort or pain. Shovel claws are highly adaptable wanderers who forage for food, constantly moving makes them extremely muscular. But if they find a place where food is plentiful, they will become more tame and lazy in their foraging, as well as stop traveling, this is why the gentle giants make good pets if raised young.
-what do they eat?
Most of a Shovel claw's diet is seeds and small insects that they can fit inside their small mouths. Though they are adaptable to their environments as they travel. So they can eat just about anything that they can fit in their mouths. Which means they can eat leaves and berries. many shovel claws also enjoy the sweet taste of nectar or honey. So be careful with sweets around them.
Foraging.
You can tell that a Shovelclaw is foraging when it is standing low crouched to the ground and picking at it with it's claws, Shovel claws don't like digging deep for food unless they have to, so they generally just graze on grass and surface insects like beetles ants and worms. They eat these things by lapping them up with their long sticky tongues.
Self preservation.
Shovel claws have soft, sensitive paw pads on their strong hind feet, these pads act like another set of ears to feel or 'hear' deep vibrations that might be a predator to the Shovel claw. When a Shovelclaw feels like it's threatened by another creature, it will stand up to it's full height and hold it's hooked claws out for protection. It is incredibly dangerous to approach a shovel claw in this state, because they will not hesitate to attack you if you pursue them. When they rest, Shovelclaws dig themselves temporary burrows to spend the night in. These temporary burrows become more permanent when shovelclaws have children, or find a place where food is plentiful

Like with penalties in sports, there are now penalties for species. (at least mine) Trying to bend rules or work your way around them will automatically get you a 1 week penalty.
For minor offenses you will get a warning then if you repeat the offense or another offense similar
You will not be allowed to adopt a burrower for 3 days for the first offense,
penalty offense 7 days for the second penalty offense and 10 days for the 3rd penalty offense as well as getting a strike.
Just like any other species 3 strikes will get you banned from the species.
