Remembering Cody and Sofia, Mabel turned back around. "You guys can come with us, if you like. Just, um, as humans. My brother and uncle would freak out."

Sophia smiled slightly and tried to climb down the tree.

She rushed inside the shack. Tomorrow was going to be crazy and she needed to go somewhere where there was no one else. She started to pack.
Lucas
He followed after Mabel. He wondered if Brooke was still around.

Mabel ran around the Shack, searching every corner, crevasse, and room she could find until she finally saw Mai. She sighed on relief, like a part of her had expected to find those stupid zombies trying to hurt her.
She saw that Mai was packing bags. "What's wrong? Are you leaving so soon?" Mabel's stomach tied in a knot. She had just made a new friend, and now she was leaving. And who would protect her from the zombies?

She had already finished crying and she was hoping not to burst in tears any time soon. She stopped packing and took a deep breath. She turned around and looked Mabel into her eyes."Idon'twanttoleavebutIhavetobecausemycorination/birthdayisonlyafewdaysawayandifIgotothecorinationIwillgetfullpowerandthezombiesdon'twantthatbecauseIcandestroythemwithmynewpowersotheywillhuntmedownandIcan'tstayortheymightkillyou!"she yelled almost screaming. She was tearing up.
