Poison thought for a moment. "Deal." she said, and gave the egg to Starflight. "Goodbye!" She flew away.

Sunny smiled.

[blitz;]

Deathbringer smirked and tied Desertfire in chains. "I hope you enjoy your life in a cell." He said as her kicked her into the cell and locked it.
...
"Just save Deathbringer and you won't be on a bad note with Queen Glory." Starsong mumbled to herself. "C'mon we just need to save my brother."

Desertfire, mouth clamped shut, gave a muffled roar. Just before the door was locked, she slammed her tail barb into the chain binding her mouth. It broke. It was the only chain weak enough to be broken through by a SandWing's tail barb. "DEATHBRINGER!" she screamed, slamming her full weight into the cell door. "I'M BEGINNING TO THINK THAT POISON WAS RIGHT FOR CHAINING YOU!" Her words were slightly slurred in anger.
...

Flash was reminded of her mission. "Oh! Yeah! The NightWing!"
...

Starflight hugged Sunny with one wing and sighed. He waited for Deathbringer's return from the dungeon.

Sunny saw the egg crack slightly. Her eyes widened. She tried to yell "The egg!"

Queen Poison heard Desertfire scream. She flew to the dungeon and landed in front of the call she was in, not paying any attention to the prisoners that escaped. "Desertfire, what happened?" she asked, unlocking the door.

Desertfire's eyes simply glowed with hatred. "Those blasted NightWings!" was all she could sputter. She thrashed against the chains. Somehow, she managed to break one binding her leg, and hook her claws into the keyhole of another chain, and yet none others would be shaken off or broken as easily. "Get me out of these chains. NOW!" Her tail whipped from side to side. Another prisoner, a traitorous SandWing, as scratched with her barbed tail. She snarled at her fellow SandWing, who was maddened that he'd gotten left behind in the prisonbreak, and he lunged out at her. Desertfire slammed her barbed point into his head, killing him. Then she turned her head to her sister once more. She stilled in order to allow the Queen to unchain her.

Starflight looked at Sunny, then held her close. A single tear trickled down his snout. "We have to get out of here, while there's still a chance."

Sunny pointed to her chains with her tail.

Deathbringer rushed out of the prison cell, blended with the shadows of the palace. He made his way to Starflight and Sunny. "We need to leave. Now." He said sternly.

Starsong sighed. "It's too hot... He could've died all alone in there..." She mumbled delusionally.
