What is your opinion on 'fan characters'? (ie. characters based on a movie, TV series, or book, or character based specifically on other characters?)
I know a lot of people don't like them, but I do. I like the way they let me write about and explore these characters or fandoms on my own terms. Like, my Will Hannibal character is British rather than American because I don't know how to speak/act like one XD It allows me to put things back into my comfort zone, what I know.
I must say, I prefer less developed characters though. The ones where limited information is known, so that I can create it myself.

Well I have Daedalus and Icarus who were created from my love of their mythology. [Both by sadbloom]
Also have Bucky, Maxie, Mycroft, Will made by Clu.
Evan [By charchar2] who is based off James Bond, and Tadpole [quardiian DA] who is based off the game Portal.

Do you draw your fursonas/characters? If so, what is your favorite piece you've made?
I do draw them, but I very rarely show it off. So nothing to show here.

When is your fursona's birthday? Is it the same day as yours?
My sonas don't share my birthday.
Merr does, but not Wolf or Klaus.
I don't know when their birthdays would be.

depends.
for example, a fire emblem awakening fan character could be extremely creative if done well, and i've seen quite a few. however, a character based on chrom himself doesn't strike my fancy, because you lose a lot of creativity.
many fan characters that are based directly on a character from a show or whatever look very similar, which i don't like.

i have a few pokemon fan characters, all are pokemon themselves. i've also made fan characters for various anime, but i never seriously developed them into something i'd continue using. so really, just the pokemon.

october 3rd. the day is the same as mine, but the month is different (october is my favorite month).

I know that a lot of people dislike these, but that doesn't really bother me. Fan characters aren't really meant to be original. They're meant to be fun, creative to some extent, and they allow viewers/readers/fandoms a lot of fun and room to grow. Also, a lot of my friends have really gorgeous fan characters c:
