Spiritstar cleared her throat, "Magpiekit and Frozenkit, you each have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you both to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Magpiepaw and Frozenpaw. Frozenpaw, your mentor will be Mintfrost... And Magpiepaw, your mentor is Cheetahblaze. I hope that they each will pass down all that they know on to you."

"Mintfrost and Cheetahblaze, you each are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Cocofang and Thornblaze, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and cunning. You two will be the mentors of these two young warriors, and I expect you to pass on all you know to them."

Mintfrost smiled, my first apprentice! she bounded forwards to touch noses with Frozenpaw

Hawkeye cheered, "Magpiepaw! Frozenpaw!" As did my other cats

Cherrypaw sat next to Sootnose

Frozenkit leaned back on her haunches I reach Mintfrost's nose.

Sootnose smiled, pleased that his mate had taken her first apprentice.

Mintfrost lowered herself to reach Frozenkit's nose, happy that she'd gotten an apprentice, Sootnose had gotten his apprentice only about a week earlier than she did, so not that much of a difference

Spiritstar cleared her throat again and then finished the apprentice naming with, "Nightkit and Remedykit, you two have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. I hope that they will pass down all that they know on to you."

Silverflower got to her paws

"Greyclaw and Silverflower, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Breezefur and..." She hesitated, "Thornstar... and you have shown yourselves to be skilled and brave. You will be the mentors of Nightpaw and Remedypaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to them."

Silverflower was embarrassed as it was brought back up, her mentor, she blushed underneath her fur and went to touch noses with the leader's niece and the daughter of Cinderclaw and Creekfoot

Rainkit smiled at his cousins

Flamewing lifted her muzzle. "Magpiepaw! Frozenpaw! Remedypaw! Nightpaw!"

Cinderclaw cheered for her kits, pressed against her mate. "Remedypaw! Nightpaw!"

Dawnsky cheered for the new apprentices

Creekfoot licked Cinderclaw's ear, "Nightpaw! Remedypaw!" He was sad that there were no open places for a medicine cat apprentice, Nightpaw must've been devastated
