Would it be ok to post about my Axolotl here since there isn't really a newt thread?

I got a white albino Axolotl today! Her name is Crimson. I put her in my 10 gallon. She has a bare bottom tank, with multiple different types of big rocks stacked up to the surface on one aide and a hide-house under the filter with a flat rock above it to disperse the filter flow. She will be eating newt pellets, freeze-dried brine shrimp blocks, and freeze-dried krill.
"I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked, but here they come again to jack my style."
In real life I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 26 rats, 2 gerbils, 2 cockroaches, 1 turtle, 1 axolotl, and 8 fish.

there is a lizard thread that does salamanders and newts too, but because it is aquatic I say we should pretend to be in an older time and call it a fish lol.

@jellybaloo; Oh ok! I read something about squeezing the old filter over the new one or something, idk, I'll hae to research more. For the 30 gallon I'm HOPING to set up a community tank with the new guy, but we'll see how that turns out. I think one of my last posts is about them <:
@Betta; Ah thank you! I thought the same thing when I saw him, I just had to have him! I've named him August n___n
I'm traveling til Friday w/ no access to my tablet!

Mostly quitting CS; I'll check messages on occasion but DA or Skype is probably a better place to contact me.

How many tanks do you have: Only one two gallon tank, sadly.
Type of fish that you have: I have one betta.
Your fish's names: The betta was bought today and is a baby, so I've decided to wait until we can sex it to give it a name.
How long have you had fish: I have always had fish, but MY first fish was given to me four years ago.

i made a post to join awhile back but i am not on the list...?
it is the second post here.

do you guys think that keeping bettas in a 2.5 gallon or 3 gallon is okay? i grew up thinking that bettas can live in extremely small bowls with water and that is it. it is what my parents taught me, but when one of my fish got fin rot and i searched up information on curing it i stumbled upon the truth...

so i had five bettas in need of proper supplies. the one with fin rot, jupiter, unfortunately passed away. i think i got everything i need for my other bettas though.

          here they are...

magi - male marbled double tail.

          Image

zed - male butterfly doubletail halfmoon.
          dragonscale?

          Image

maze - elephant ear, maybe dragonscale. i am not sure of his tail type.

          Image

neptune - butterfly doubletail. (i'll post better pictures of him later.)

          Image

r.i.p jupiter - male veil tail.

Anyone know of a way to cover decorations to make them aquarium safe?
I thought about using silicone since it's water proof (and used in most tanks to hold
    them together).

Please help! Their tank is so cloudy! :( the only thing that changed is I fed an algae wafer, which expanded and made the water kind of cloudy. Then, a plant sort of rotted which I removed... plus I've been feeding the ottos blanched zucchini. I'm really scared this will affect the fish negatively, but they seem fine and I've done two 25% water changes. It seems like it keeps getting worse though, and it's been like this for two days. The water smells normal and I rinsed the filter cartridge off with dechlorinated water as well.

The'll be fine for a couple days. This happened to mine a couple days ago too when I changed to a bigger filter. Just put in some declairifer and wait. If doesnt get better in a few days change out their water again.

Thanks guys! I'll look into TB. Is there any thing I should be looking for in him to prove it is/isn't the disease?

Would a black moor goldfish be alright on its own in a 12 gallon tank for a year or so, if I moved out the comet it's currently with? I can't afford a bigger tank until next summer, but he's really small, smaller than my thumb.
Also, I was thinking I could move the comet to a water garden (about 50-80 gallons, not sure), would it be able to survive winter if I left it outside like that?

Minimum I would recommend is 20g but if you are commited to doing 50% water changes every 2-3 days and use prime as your declorinator and if the moor is only tiny he should be ok
Upgrade him to a 30g as soon as you can though
