Midnight was asleep on a tree branch, her purple hair almost completely covering her face. One of her wings hung off the side, and as she twitched it she began to slip, and eventually fell off the branch. She landed with a rather loud thud, and she jolted into a sitting position with a slight groan of pain since she had landed on her wing.

Midnight got up and briskly shook herself to get rid of a few leaves that had gotten stuck in her mane and tail, and aha carefully opened the wing she had landed on, "Ow.. " She muttered, noticing a deep cut on it, most likely from getting caught on a branch.
