she sighed her eyes brightening as she watched a handsom young tom walk in with a deluted tortishell by his side happily chatting, until she relized it was just her memory teasing her , she washed the young toms coat bending her cranium to his ear " Oh buzzardclaw I wont forget you ever. " she muttered gravly inspecting his outstretched claws, indeed it was an animal it had dark (Idk shadowhearts fur color xD) she flicked her tail thoughtfully before gently rubbing the mint and lavender on his pelt, in which almost every cat adored the smell it was the sweetest thing besides honey that she had ever smelt. She gently placed the flowers over her dead friend backing away slowly her eyes full of painful grief.

Cherrypaw chuckled and stared into the tom's eyes. She felt her heart skip a beat before she finally answered him. "His name is Bramblepaw" the she-cat meowed, waiting to see his reaction..

Greenstar bounded up to the high rock. "There has been a death in the Clan." He shouted, trying to catch all the cats' attention in camp. "Buzzardclaw has passed on. There will be a silent vigil held for him tonight, for friends and family." He said mournfully. He didn't know what to say. There hadn't been a death in the clan in so long, he forgot how hard it was to deal with.

Bramblepaw closed his eyes and thought for a moment before responding. He let out a sigh, and looked back into her eyes. "Listen Cherrypaw, I like you.. But more as a friend." He said slowly, watching the white she-cat's reaction.

Cherrypaw's smile quickly turned into a frown, the hurt clear in her blue eyes. "But.....I really like you.....and I thought you..." She meowed but couldn't finish. The she cat began shaking her head, unable to ignore the terrible aching of her broken heart.

AshClaw stopped, taken aback. He looked to the left. "Fun was long ago." He answered.

SnowSprint came back and saw BuzzardClaw's body. She ran over to him, next to WinterHeart. Her heart ached but she smiled. "A good warrior was lost but now he walks with StarClan. He shall not be forgotten." She said softly.

WinterHeart let her head drop. She didn't know him well but he was a fellow clan mate. She mourned for a while with SnowSprint then stood up and limped out of the camp.

SnowSprint got up as well and followed her friend. She was glad her mentor wasn't the one dead but felt bad and sad for SootCloud.

"Well then, I recommend you have some fun as soon as possible. You'd be surprised how much it can change a cat. You won't be so grumpy afterwards" Robin meowed with a smile. "So, grumpy, do you have a name?"

Greenstar slowly got off of high rock and walked over to Sootcloud. "Do you want me to stay vigil with you tonight?" He asked softly. Even though the tom was from the same clan as Greenstar, they never were really close.

Bramblepaw dropped his head. "I'm sorry, Cherrypaw. I think I should go…" He turned and started walking out of the clearing. He felt horrible for what he just did, but it had to be done.
