Shadowheart hurried into the camp, then joined the group of cats forming below the high rock. She winced slightly when she sat down, but hoped no one noticed it.

Riverstorm offered Flamewing a smile, then nudged the robin towards the she-cat. "Have some. I don't think Greenstar will mind if we eat while he talks." He said quietly.

Bramblepaw saw Cherrypaw and Spiderpaw and walked over to them. He sat next to Spiderpaw. "Cherrypaw, we should wait until after the meeting and such." he said quietly. He flashed an apologetic gaze at Spiderpaw. "I'll meet up with you later." he mouthed.

Greenstar bounded up the high rock and looked at the cats gathered below. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below high rock for a clan meeting!" He called to summon the rest of the cats.

Adderstripe
"I dunno," Adderstripe said, looking at Robin, and smiling. "Probably. I should get going soon. I wouldn't want them to send a patrol for me, and have what happened earlier happen again. Besides, I think Greenstar's gonna announce the new deputy tonight."

Willowleaf sat outside her den for the ceremony she sorta wanted a apprectince she was starting to have to treat her own pads of cracks from walking to much but she was to young at least she thought that *

"Don't mind if i do!" She giggled, reaching down to grab a bite, keeping an eye on Greenstar.

Flintfoot snorted. " Hey may be named Spike, but he sounds like a coward. " He growled. " Do you want to report this to Greenstar, so we can keep a look-out? "

"No! He is watching my every move..." Kestleflame replied.

Slashing his tail, Flintfoot rolled his eyes. " Please. If he was watching your every move, that would be creepy. If he wasn't a coward, he would show himself! "

Cherrypaw couldn't help but purr. She was really excited to tell Bramblepaw how she felt, but still little nervous. The only thing that bothered her was that he may be overwhelmed or not return her feelings.

Spiderpaw slowly nodded her head with a small smile, understanding what he mouthed to her(yep. She's a lip reader). Her gaze turned to the high rock to hear her leaders words.

Robin nodded. "That sounds exciting. I'll see you later then?" The kittypet meowed, her smile widening and her eyes shining happily.

"Yeah," Adderstripe said. "After it's over, would you like to meet back here? It shouldn't be too long?"

Stormwing:
Stormwing shifted from paw to paw. She was so filled with excitement for the deputy news... not that she would get it, of course, but still, it would be a huge authority! She wanted some cat... ready for the job. She surveyed the crowd, trying to judge who would become the deputy, but then sunk back, as too many cats had the attributes of a deputy. What a hard decision for Greenstar to make, she mused to herself.

Greenstar cleared his throat before beginning. "As you all know, I have been searching for a deputy. I have finally decided on one. This cat is honorable, wise, and caring." He locked eyes with Flamewing. "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of OakClan is Flamewing." He declared. The leader watched the cats below him, waiting for their reaction.

Bramblepaw, Riverstorm, and Rosefrost raised their muzzles to the sky and chanted, "Flamewing, Flamewing!"

Shadowheart narrowed her eyes and looked around, quietly chanting "Flamewing" but she couldn't share in the festivities. After the announcement was made, she turned and stalked into the warriors den, lying down to get some rest.
