" There nothing for you to be sorry about! " He called back down, not looking at her. He stayed where he was and curled his tail around him.

He sighed. " Fine. " He muttered and clawed back down, muscles showing through his pelt. Once he finally reached the bottom, Flintfoot turned his gaze to Kestrelflame. " What do you wanna say? "

"I'm acting weird because...my father is out to kill me." Kestrelflame murmured.

Shadowheart smiled wickedly. "Perfect." She purred. The dark she-cat led the way out of the camp. She took them to the west border, almost positive no one would be within earshot. Plus, there was a beautiful stream near by. "Soo.. Buzzardclaw.." She said quietly, he green eyes glowing. "Do you remember when we were apprentices?" She asked, trying to sound innocent.

Greenstar stood up from where he had been laying. "Come on. I am tired of being in this camp. I like to be outside of it's walls in the wide forest. I won't push myself or anything," he gestured to his wound, "because I don't think I'm really ready to push myself anyways." He laughed.

Bramblepaw nodded. "Coool." He breathed, dragging the word out. He paused for a moment, then looked over at her, "Who is it? If you don't mindtellingme." He said so quickly his words slurred together at the end. "Ahh, sorry for talking so fast." He said, his ears growing hot.

Riverstorm shrugged. "It's probably because she wants Greenstar to herself. I've noticed she-cats aren't exactly the best at sharing." He chuckled. "Of course, you shouldn't have to share a mate or anything, but I dunno. Seemed weird to me." He shrugged again.

His fur instantly spiked up. " What? Who? Why? " He asked.

"His name is Spike. He murdered my mother..and I tried to kill him. He fought me off at the kittypet place.. and I ran away here. He is after me, now." Kestrelflame replied.

Cherrypaw blinked and looked down at her paws. "How about I tell you tonight? We could go hunting just before it gets dark, and then I can tell you who it is" the she-cat meowed with a small smile.

Buzzardclaw slowly nodded his head. "Yes....I remember" the tom meowed to the she-cat. "I'm glad we could put the past behind us Shadowheart. I always thought of you as a good friend"
