The Edge (Sci-Fi; Accepting)

Miles

"Well, I am pretty dangerous." He laughs. Miles stops at the trunk and nods for Ivy to go first. "You'll be fine." He promises with an easy smile.

Mikaelan

"Is something wrong, Nova?" Mika asks softly. "You're terribly jumpy." She stops and lifts her hand to his face, checking his temperature. His blushing face is warm, and causes her to frown. "Are you feeling sick? You should come to the clinic."

Ivy looked between Miles and the ladder then took a deep breath and placed her hands on it. She started to climb, somewhat quickly, as she wanted to at least not be so vulnerable while she was in the air. When she reached the top she scrambled away from the opening.

Miles

Miles climbed after Ivy, his pace much more relaxed. When he reached the top he smiled encouragingly at Ivy but didn't say anything.

Ivy steadied herself, reminding herself that she couldn't fall, she was in an enclosed space, then asked Miles, "So uh where do we have to go to ask if they have anything we can eat for lunch? I don't remember if we saw the kitchen or not."

Miles rubs his shoulder, thoughtful, and then shrugs. "We can wander around until we find something?"

[Kankri Vantas]

Nova quickly shakes his head no, and backs away from Mika slightly, "N-no I'm fine It's just a little hot for my liking today" he said trying to control his blush

Mikaelan

"Are you sure?" Mika asks worriedly. "It's never trouble to check." She tilts her head, moving her hand to his wrist where she, not so covertly, checks his pulse.

Ivy shrugged then nodded. "Okay then. I guess it's worth a try, but if we get lost in this tree I'm blaming you," she replied. She walked over to a nearby hall. "So, this one?"

Nova slides his wrist out of her light grasp, he lets out a small sigh, "I'm fine if I'm not fine I'll stop by the clinic okay?"

Miles shrugs. "I moonlight as a fall guy." He looks around and shrugs. "I know about as much about this place as you do."

Mika lowers her head slightly. "Right, sorry." She says softly. "I didn't mean to push."
