if a pet is from, say 2008- 2009 how does the rarity drop?

The only explanation I can come up with is old inactive accounts being reactivated. Other than that, I really have no idea.

Oh yes, of course, but not in the middle of the year =P

That's def true xD Although i guess it could also mean a combination of both. People are usually really active around december fro the rerelease, disappear and come back around the summer for the event, and thus the pets that got released but were on 'inactive accounts' are not back active? Combi of both then 8D
