I don't think it's that weird. It's a bit like celebrating CIE-day, I think. I really don't know. I might not even be settled yet. Personalities are ever-changing, so the entire idea of settling is a bit flawed! But nevertheless I can't really see my personality fluctuaing a lot from the binturong in he future. And I'm happy about that, for some reason :)

Hey, do your dæmon's names mean anything?

After I named Erastos (originally Erastus), I figured out that it means beloved. But when choosing, I listened only to the sound of it until I found one that fitted. We're both happy about it now. Besides, it's better than just calling him 'that weird cat-thing' XD

Well...
Sol means sun, but that's only his pet name. Soleriol, however, is a mystery. No clue what it means. Sol liked it, so we stuck with it.

From Κυρος (Kyros), the Greek form of the Persian name Kūrush, which may mean "far sighted" or "young". The name is sometimes associated with Greek κυριος (kyrios) "lord".

His name was mostly chosen because I liked how it sounded, not for any particularly deep meaning.

As for being settled, I don't think you're ever 100% settled. As you move onto different phases of your life, you may find there are traits that go away, are magnified, or are new entirely. It's just part of growing up.

Yes, the same for me. I chose Soleriol because it sounded nice, and it didn't tie my tongue in knots. I hated having an unnamed dæmon! It was like people just shouting random things at me to get my attention.

About the name thing;
Tae actually started out as female, and was named Mocha, after I watched The Golden Compass movie for the first time several years ago! Mocha was forgotten for some time, but then later reappeared and become a male named Tazer (random name I chose. I thought it sounded cool xD) and was also half-forgotten for awhile (I thought about him but didn't project him.)
Then I read the HDM books and found the dæmon forum and decided to get more serious with the whole dæmon thing- thinking Tazer was kind of a dumb name, but still liking the sound of it, I decided to call him Tae, and he's been Tae ever since x3 Although we have been thinking of extending his name to something like Taekiel c:

Taekiel is a great name! I really like it. Names with '-el' at the end always reminds me of the angels x3

Starting the process of form finding again since I've gone through so much I know I've changed. I didn't know how drastically when I got the suggestion to move from extinct apex predator megafauna to small primates and solitary tiny deer things.

I'm trying out zebra duiker as a form for now while I still feel things out. I like how small deer things are feeling, but I need some more feedback before I really buckle down.
