Choices:
1. Pull Rowanpaw off
2. Stay out of it
3. Pull Rowanpaw off
4. Pull Rowanpaw off
5. Push Cinderpaw down
6. Push Cinderpaw down
7. Push Cinderpaw down
Roll says... 6: Push Cinderpaw down.
You take a running start and leap into Cinderpaw, trying to knock her over as hard as you can. This nets you a stumble and nearly a topple when Rowanpaw starts trying to pull her down too, but Cinderpaw is a much stronger fighter than you and instead just lashes out in your direction. You yelp when she hits you across the face and you jump back. Pain wells on your muzzle and nearly across your nose, but you can feel that it's a small scratch compared to what Rowanpaw is dealing with.
Hailfang and Kitestorm jump into the fray, soon joined by Otternose and Snailpelt. Together, they pull apart the still-swinging apprentices, Cinderpaw hurling abuse at the two toms gripping onto her scruff and Rowanpaw, who's breathing heavily and trying to shake blood out of his eyes. He's cut open across his chest and legs, and there's a nasty series of bruises and bumps quickly forming along the side of his face. Cinderpaw has puncture wounds on her head and neck, but doesn't even look winded.
"That's enough!" Eveningtail jumps between them, looking furious. "What is the matter with you two? Rowanpaw, you know better, and Cinderpaw-"
"Shouldn't be fighting Clanmates," the big molly mutters. She pulls away from Kitestorm and Hailfang, shakes her head (sending blood everywhere), and stalks to the entrance of camp, ignoring Eveningtail ordering her to come back.
Rowanpaw's gulping for air, and slides to the ground when released. He looks dazed by the thrashing against the ground. He's not even registering anyone talking to him.
Someone finally asks how you're doing, but compared to the other apprentices, you feel just dandy. They insist that you go to Divercloud's den anyways, so you help Eveningtail practically carry Rowanpaw to the medicine den and wait until you're called in, about five minutes later.
"Do you know where you are?" Eveningtail is saying.
It takes the ginger tom a second, but he says weakly, "In camp. In a...den. Right?"
"Right." She looks over at Divercloud. "She was throwing him around pretty hard. I'm worried that he might have a head injury."
"We'll see," says the old cat. He slowly goes over Rowanpaw's body, feeling along his shoulders and ribs, and then over his skull. "He's dazed, certainly, and scratched up plenty, but I think a rest is all he needs. Ah, Rookpaw, could you get some moss and water it down? We need to clean him up before we can properly see all the scratches."
He's so slow in saying it that you're already walking further into the den and getting some fresh moss by the time he's at "water it down". You quickly jog out, fill it up with water, and run back in. You drop it by Divercloud, then stand back to let him work.
"Thank you, little one. Now, where's the other fighter?" he says, as he begins working over the various marks.
"I don't know. She left before we could do anything. I'll have to go find her." Eveningtail sighs wearily.
Let's wait until she's calmed down.
I'll help you look.
Me and Knotpaw can go find her.
