does anyone have any good tips for making a pretty form? i'm trying out for my first plumie and i'm not quite sure what i'm doing.
despite the fact i've stalked the species for so long i never really learned how you all make such beautiful forms!

also what is the difference between an 'extra' and 'prettying up'? i never really figured this out either.

I'd say try not to make it too vertical and give it some pictures relating to the plum, also try to incorporate art into it.
Extras are say the form was your username the name and gender, and the artist says 2 extras are allowed. That means you can add another catagory like personality, art, a story etc instead of just the name and gender.
Prettying up is basically making your form look less boring without adding anything new to it

Well, not all judges judge based off of the prettiness of forms, it's content that you should be most concerned about. No matter the case, here are some tips. <:
•Don't write things that don't add to the character, example; random likes/dislikes aren't useful. If you add in a section EXPLAIN why it's important.
•A connection is crucial. If you're not very connected to it, then trying out isn't a good idea
•Pretty forms is basically coding. It can mean anything from adding dividers to simply adding in legible colors.
•Character development is the most important and what you should focus mostly on. Nobody likes a character that 'loves everyone and is ALWAYS nice'. Remember that for a character to be realistic, they should have a lot of flaws.

Not many so far, she hasn't had much social time ;v;

Riley really only likes her white knitted beanie.
Tassy rarely ever wears hats as they get in the way while she's running around.

Does your Plumerian live up to the meaning of it's name?
Riley means courageous. She's lives up to it pretty well, at least, she's not afraid to do what she likes.
Tassy means heroic. While she may not be quite the hero type, she is brave and loves adventure.

What was the last thing that made your plumie cry?
Riley's not much of a crier. The last time she cried was probably when she broke a bone in her paw/hand.
Tassy cried recently when she slipped and fell out of a tree tranch, ending up with a skinned knee.

Has your plumie ever been in a physical fight?
Riley hasn't. If it comes down to it, she prefers a more strategic way to get back at them.
Tassy really doesn't fight as she's too little. She has gotten into a tiny cat fight with another pps plumie though, over spilled ice cream.

Does your plumie have a favourite quote?

Tassy:

Riley has lots of aquatences, who she likes to be around, but only a few close friends.
Tassy however, likes to try to make friends with everyone. however, her best friend is Simon's Maya
