Frostbelly began to sob over his father's pelt, "dad, I-I used to train in the Dark Forest, I didn't want to, but they threatened to kill me if I ever told anybody. One night, I was asleep and awoke there, Dewfur was there, too, she'd never been there before, w-we'd been just apprentices then. We crossed the border and ran into StarClan, we found Blackpelt and explained to him what had happened, he pleaded for us to tell nobody, not even you." Breezefur responded, "come here," his son obeyed, and the father gave him a big lick on the cheek, "I love you to StarClan and back, and I understand that if Blackpelt said not to tell then there must be a reason. Frostbelly, I knew that you had trained in the Dark Forest, I mean, you'd been waking up with gashes and scars and covering it up, saying that it was from thorns." Frostbelly's head dropped shamefully as Breezefur soothed, "it's okay, I was to find out sooner or later. Do you want to know what I just dreamed?" Frostbelly nodded, "I dreamed of peace, a clan with no winter, where cats from all clans, even WhisperClan, lost so long ago, could live in peace amongst each other. Where all cats of the forest despite nasty rogues, will one day go. Including myself. Frostbelly, I'm growing old, and the rat wounds are too bad for me. It's my time." Frostbelly's eyes widened and his jaw dropped, "NO!" He yowled as his claws dugs into the ground, "DON'T LEAVE ME!" He pleaded, salty wet tears dripping onto Breezefur's pelt as the cat smiled one last time and shut his eyes. The warrior let out a loud yowl, "NO! No, no, NO!"
