Astrid and Stormfly ran after Malia to see what was happening. Stormfly snorted and tried to get between the two dragons, being careful not to step on Valka while doing this.

"Itch no!" Malia stopped when she saw a woman holding her hand to his nose. Itch slowly came out of his aggression and watched the woman. The woman was her mother. Valka. Malia gasped. She hadn't changed except now she had a few gray hairs. Itch gave in to her and rested his nose against her hand. He purred happily and relaxed. So many thoughts were going through Malia's mind.
"Itch! Here, now!" She ran to him as he turned away from Valka and ran towards his rider. Malia jumped on Itch and they took off before Valka could see her face. She was crying. What had she been thinking? That after so long it would be like nothing had changed?
Am I kidding myself?! Everything's changed! Itch took them far into the woods and hid in a cove where they'd be hidden well for a while.

"Malia!" It was too late as she had flown off. Astrid turned to face Valka with a hurt look on her face. "What have I done?"

Valka stepped back a bit as the Dragon ran off, Itch was his name, well that's what she heard his rider call him. Valka tried to look at the rider, but they left before she could get a good look. Noticing Astrid's expression, Valka titled her head. "What happened?"

She sighed and looked over at Stormfly, who was sniffing the ground where Itch used to be. She then looked back at Valka, speaking. "That was your daughter. I brought her here after finding out you are her mother. She didn't take it very well I guess.."

Hiccup took Toothless down with his Net, and upon finding him, let him free. He didn't have the guts to kill a dragon. Later, they eventually bonded, Hiccup building a new Tail flap for Toothless since his was missing from the crash. (might add onto later)
