I don't think Austria would have it. It's general awkwardness and not knowing how to react in a social situation; many people with Asperger's take a musical interest, but that's because they have interests of higher intelligence. Lots of us have hobbies such as tinkering with mechanics, aeroplanes, studying the molecular structures of clouds etc.
I honestly think somebody like America would have Asperger's. He appears to be very interested in planes, and inappropriate at the best of times (remember when the others tell him to 'read the mood'?) He also seems to be very blunt/honest about things. Did I read somewhere that he had driven a lot of people away by his loudness? That's what it's like; really wanting to make friends, but ending up saying stupid things you regret for the next twelve years.
Oh that's happened to me. It was very awkward. It happens a lot. I say something then regret it and end up dwelling on it for a long time. It makes me feel like I am such an idiot.
America seems to fit better than Austria, you are correct! I think they could both fit, but America seems like he'd fit the bill.
