Reason;;I like the roll of the dice choice better then the other, but I want to keep the items around too. The items can help 'ensure' a certain edit or edits WILL be passed off, or at least raise the chances of edits being passed off. For me, the numbers of edits in all on both parents determines it all. If only one parent has edits, the less likely the edit will be passed off. If both has them, then it has a higher chance of being passed. I'm pretty sure I'm rambling now and you get what I'm saying now.

idk, maybe Saffira or Pastry? Being a prince could be fun, even more so if I'm one that fools around all day. Saffira is more like his babysitter, so..xD
Mate could be cool, but boring too. Scuttle is a pirate, but I don't want to lose any parts |D
Vincent is mafia-man and Aleks is too extreme for me.

So either Lotus, Shinee or Chrome :D

Reason;; As others have mentioned, the breeding items seem hard to find, and if only breeding items are used, it will make it difficult for the people who couldn't/can't find one. Plus, the dice idea would be easier, and would make more sense, in my opinion. The items can just increase the chance.
