Miles blinks at Kaja; he hadn't thought the trap was strong enough to hold half her size but, here she was. "Uh... Well we can't just cut her down. She'll fall on her head." He rubs his neck. "Sorry about this." He mumbles to Kaja.

Mikaelan

Mika, walking through the hall toward the banquet, stops short to keep from falling into a passerby. She blinks sightlessly, looking toward the other. "Nova?" She asks softly.

Ivy frowned. "Maybe we could go find Mei? She'd probably know how to fix this better than we do," she suggested. She gave an apologetic smile to Kaja. "Um sorry again."

Miles

Miles looks between the two then shrugs. "As you wish." He pulls a dagger from his boot and hands it to Ivy. Then puts his arms out to catch Kaja. "Cut the rope near above the noose." He instructs Ivy.

Ivy took the knife cautiously. "Oh um okay." She moved so she was standing next to the rope. She stood on her tiptoes until she could reach the are Miles had said then sliced through the rope.

Nova looks over at Mika and blushes slightly, "O-oh hello Mika, I didn't see you there" he said rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment

Miles

Miles catches Kaja and quickly sets her upright, taking a step back in case she's feeling violent. "See, we didn't need Mei." He says proudly, though he still looks guilty for Kaja having been caught.

Mikaelan

Mika only smiles. "I didn't see you, either." She says with a giggle. She's always tried to be humorous about her... condition but it sounds a bit macabre.

Ivy had a sudden thought and burst out laughing. "Oh, I just realized that when Mei finds out about what happened she's going to have words for you," she giggled.

Nova smiled softly a her 'joke', "So I need to drop this Kryalt in the kitchen, wanna come with me" he asked hoping he didn't sound like a weirdo

Miles sighs at this because he knows she's right. "Great. Just wonderful." He rubs his face with his hands, suddenly looking drawn.

Mikaelan pauses; she thinks of her patients, still resting, and nods. "Alright. Lead the way." She smiles at her friend.
