Viho slowed slightly, just so he was by Amar's side. "Amar, is it gone? Has it stopped chasing us yet?" They didn't have time to stop and talk, but he needed to know. "Amar, I need to know... I can't keep running without knowing. What is chasing us?" He cocked his head, frowning. His heart was racing, pounding in his chest. He hadn't ran like this for a while...
I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you
You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you
I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

Amar:
The hunter was quivering where he stood his eyes wide. "Ara and her kin are not the only ones to Weave." He said, his eyes wide and fearful. "There are others, ones literally made out of the Weft and the Warp, in other words Woven into the world by their own minds. They can be simple things that will merely scare you, or-" He gulped, looking over his shoulder. "ones like that thing." He raised his head, giving out a keening howl. "It can't get up over here, we are safe, and I doubt Ara couldn't feel it." Amar shook his head. "It is an evil thing, mad with fear and rage. It has has had no new prey for years, and no doubt it will be angry for being cheated out of it's snack. Ara's borders may not hold."

Viho nodded, sighing. "Alright. Lets go. We need to go back to camp, report this to Ara, make sure she knows we are okay." He burst into camp, breathing still laboured and painful as he got over to Ara. "We have returned. All three of us safe. It is okay, for now. But it is angry and starving, but the borders will hold it for a little while. But not forever, we have to find a way to stop it..." He looked up at Ara with frightened eyes, his breathing returning to normal slowly.

Ara:
The gray wolf let out a long breath as she sat down and crossed her paws, fixing her attention on the two wolves below. "I know. I felt it enter a little while ago. I am sorry, I had no way to warn you of what it was. The trigger markers went off as the Weave-Beast crossed our warning triggers. If you had lingered in that clearing any loner, you would have died. The name of the pack was Morot, the pack that my Great Grandmother killed long ago." She titled her head to the side, resting her chin on her paws. "I did not know how she did it until tonight, that is a lingering Weave-Beast of hers, still chewing on the bones of the pack it devoured." Ara whined, ears flat. "She was young and powerful when she did it, she wasn't Weaver for very long, as you can guess."

Viho gulped as he listened to her speak, frowning as he averted his eyes. "Ara, there is something I don't kind understand. I was intrigued by the bones, I wanted to stay although I could sense the danger. My body just blocked it out, to focus on the scene around me." He looked at his paws then up at her eyes again. "I felt as if I was connected with it, Ara, please help me. What does it mean? Staring into their lifeless eyes... I could see myself, my own reflection, although there was nothing to cast it." He was so confused, what did this all mean? Was he destined to die as they had? If it was for his pack, he would accept it.

Amar:
He shifted his weight back and forth, unnerved by the Weaver's words. He had only heard of Weave-Beasts as stories, things to be uttered while safe in the den surrounded by friends and forgotten in the dawn's light. If Ara had not for-seen this danger, what else lurked in the dark woods that he had once thought of as a safe haven. Amar was still panting lightly from his run, but his breathing was more controlled. The Weave-Beast would not be able to cross, for now. If Ara died they were also doomed.
Ara:
Ara though for a moment, turning thoughts over in her head. "It could mean a number of things. Weave-Beasts are like living beings in the fact that each is different, no two share the same powers. This one could have had a tempting aura that would attract you to the site of the slaughter, and leave you trapped there until it had encircled you completely. They have ways of dulling the senses. The wolves' spirits could have lingered, of course, lives taken by magical means are often return to haunt the place of their death." Ara paused, licking her nose. 'Tell me, did you notice anything strange, other than the skulls of course>"

Viho shook his head, trying to remember. "Amar... Come here for a moment." He looked back at his friend, sighing softly. "I'm sorry, I can't remember anything but the bones there. Amar, was there anything else interesting in the clearing aside from the bones?" He cocked his head, flicking his ears forward as he leant closer to Ara for a moment. "You speak of Attracting auras, but why single me out when you could attract all three? Amar just seemed frightened, and Tala..." He shrugged, not looking back at her. "Why attract me, if that was what it was doing..."
