█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████True Name;;加油
Jiāyóu or Jiayou
(Roughly Ja-yo)
Name meaning;;A Chinese idiom meaning, "Add fuel." Usually used to encourage others, like adding fuel to a fire to keep it burning strong. Used for the official cheer in the Beijing Olympics.
What others call him;;The first name he ever tells anyone is usually just Dragon. After all, he is pretty much known for carrying around his dragon scarf. If they are truly persistent and want his true name, he will only ever tell of Jia. Just personal preference for him.
███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████Personality;;
Jia comes off as a cold and harsh type. At least his face and his mask/bandana tells that story. Behind those Angry Bird eyebrows of his that depict a cold and heartless soul, is a golden-heart.
Jia is very compassionate and kind to those around him. He isn't afraid to initiate a conversation with someone about their day or shooting a stranger a cheerful smile. Jia is the type to genuinely mean something when he speaks. This also applies when he is greeting a new creature or giving someone a gift. He is very patient and [color=#E43033]caring towards others, even if he doesn't know them personally. He pretty much treats everyone as a friend, that is just how he is. Jia cares a lot about others. He always says that if it were possible, he would give anyone, anything of their heart's desire.
Jia likes to think of himself as a protective big brother to others. He never means it in a narcissistic way when he says he considers himself to be a big brother. But he is never afraid of stepping into an argument or conversation if it means protecting someone. Jia is selfless and isn't afraid of getting hurt himself either, as long as no one else gets hurt on his accord. Of course he will always try to settle things by words first. However if it resorts to it, he will do anything to protect other Finches. He often thinks of himself as being one of the four river dragons in his past life, doing whatever they can for others.
He is very modest, never speaking too high of himself, other than when joking around. He very much dislikes talking about himself actually, constantly thinking he is being self-centred. However, this does not stop him from speaking well about others. Whether it be praising a talent another creature has or just talking about how kind they are, as long as it isn't about himself, he will definitely speak about it.
Jia can get a bit silly sometimes, making jokes or making a fool of himself! He often tries his best to look cool but it always seems like he ends up making everyone laugh. Jia can be a bit sarcastic as well. No one truly knows if he is making a fool of himself by accident or on purpose, just to get laughs and giggles out of everybody. But either way, it definitely cheers up everyone else in the process!
Jia doesn't like speaking about his feelings. True to the image he tries "oh-so-hard" to keep up, he is reserved about his emotions. He hates putting burden of his own problems on to others and this is one of his greatest flaws. He ends up keeping all his feelings inside and eventually, he will erupt like a volcano and break down. All of this he keeps a secret though.
There is a lot to discover about Jia. He's quite the mysterious Finch behind this very different image of his.

Perhaps this is more of a personality trait but Jiayou cares very much about other people. He never wants to put anyone in pain or make them sad and he will try his best not to do so. Of course some things are out of his control but he will definitely try his best to not cause any pain to others, which is something he knows much too well.█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████Why I want him;;
I need to keep this form short as I'm very low on time. However, I would like to say why I would like to own the dragon here. I apologize for not being able to have completed this in a timely manner or provide any art(my art skills aren't the finest to be honest.) The basic reason I would want to call him my own character is for a some-what sob story reason? I suppose that's one way of considering it. Feel free to look away right now, I know a lot of people don't appreciate these sort of stories. But if you do happened to stay then here it is:
During mid-May, a member of the k-pop/m-pop group EXO left the group. His name is Kris or Wu YiFan(this is only the tip of the iceberg. Researching will give you much more information to connect the dots.). He was one of the two leaders of the group, a very good leader at that. He was the only one who could communicate in four languages(Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and English.), reaching out to fans around the world. And, to say the least, he was my favourite in the group.
At first, he was given a bad boy, cold, and dark image because of his face. But as time went on during the two years of performing, fans learned and saw his true personality, which holds true to the personality I gave this character. He was kind, compassionate, and loving to all his fans, even though he had never met them before. He was very funny and entertaining, making jokes and making a fool of himself in front of cameras. Which is where this personality came from.
Along with it, he was called the dragon as a joke between the group and it's fans. He would jokingly say that he was a dragon and could fly around to world to meet fans.
Around the time this was first released, YiFan released a song with only him singing, which was his message to everyone that this was his new start. And to have all of this just happen to all come up around the same time, it made everything much more symbolic.
To summarize, I'd like to own this Finchling for sentimental value. It's cheesy and it's annoying to hear another one of these and I apologize for it. I didn't give him a typical dragon like personality because I wanted for this character to remind me of the memories that Kris/Wu YiFan gave to us fans through this Finch. Cringe all you want, but this is the true reason I'd like to own him. Decide as you'd like. It'd be an honour to own this Finchling.
May or may not edit this further =) Do not expect very much more though cx
