I sigh softly after Sheera spoke, " I thought as much. I caught a whiff of his scent, so I'm taking one of the lionesses and I'm about to go out to see him. " I say as I stand up to leave. I glance over at Eve, who was sorting herb, and smile slightly, " Keep up the good work, Eve, will have a little talk once I get back. " I say as I past by her, walking out of the den.

Intrigued by the conversation, I listen in while I sort some herbs. I catch Sheera's glance towards me as she speaks. I look away and continue my work. The fur on the back of my next prick up as Luna speaks to me. I watch her leave, smiling at her words, " Yes, ma'am! " I say eagerly.

I smile, " Well, that's good. " I reply simply. It was nice to have someone to talk to after a while. Since mother was so busy nowadays, I had become rather alone.

Sekhmet cleaned up her face and looked down at the wrapped paw, deep sadness embedded in her eyes. She didn't know what to do. How will she react to this? Spontaneously for sure. "Well you won't be waking up for a bit, huh?" She stepped out briefly to grab a small piece of meat, avoiding the hyena, and returning to eat in the comfort of of her den. "What are we gonna do?"

Alestor yawned as the brute was taking forever this time. He shook his mane and sniffed. "No Jester? That's a first.... Hey missy! If daddy ain't here it's your turn to answer! Not very nice to leave someone who's willing to help you standing here forever... What was that kitten's name again? Right, Luna!" He called out again, not liking the wait and already in mind his question about Jester.

Maddalynn finished her meal and walked around the heart of their base, not daring to leave again or wanting to bother the healer either.

Jaded was getting tired of waiting and having to be completely quiet cuz of that dang healer Equinox wasn't as fun as she wanted it to be. All she wanted was to scare the fur off of Ophelia and this tree was the perfect spot as she frequented it's shade often. She was about to give up when she was her hard working stealth pay off. She was coming over though also with Jakura. No matter, she wanted to see her plan through. They where both bigger now and although she was a jaguar leopard she acted like part of the pride, thanks to the healer some of them also treated her kindly. Sometimes she thought herself as a lion though her love for climbing didn't leave her veins. "Your mine!" She shouted as her spotted golden fur darted out of the tree and tackled the young lioness that was about to inquire of her future profession. She burst out in laughter as she was able to catch her "kill", sitting up she dipped her head to Jakura. "Sorry sir, I couldn't wait any longer, didn't mean to interrupt something important..." She apologized with a giant grin and still holding back her laughter from her cubbish joke and mischief.

Whoever is playing Equinox, Jade is an accepted jaguar leopard in the pride, she's young like Ophelia but it's your choice on how he sees her in his own eyes, not all lions accept her in the pride still.)

I walk out of the healer's den and past Leaf, expecting her to follow. As I walk, I call back to her, " stay close to me. " Walking out of the camp, Alestor's scent becomes strong and define. I walk to the border and sure enough, there he was, sitting on the edge.

Alestor was cleaning his face but when she finally got there he set down his paw. "Well you finally showed up. So what's the deal, kitten? Where's Jester?"

" Him. " I say softly to the new lioness, gesturing to the male lion on the border. I sit a few feet away from Alestor, " Jester... won't be coming. He sent me to work out the deal. " I state calmly. I decide that it wouldn't be the best decision to tell him that Jester had been taken. " Though you may know me, I'm Luna, Jester's mate and I'm hear to decision the reason as for why you have come. " I say calmly.

Alestor huffed at her answer. "I don't think your being quite honest but if you insist, why else would I be here? If he sent you then he should have explained it all to you..." He eyed her for a bit, not paying any regard to Leaf as he was in the middle of business. "It's quite simple. You give us a fair amount of food, say about one plump beast per pair every other day, and we hold up our side of the bargain..." To him that was a reasonable price for keeping the pride borders safe though it did require a lot of hunting as he has ten rogues at least, not counting himself in total.
