"Can I ask you something?" She stopped and turned to face Amaroq.

"Sure." He turned around.

[mishka.]

Amika
"Why-" she sighed, trying to figure out how to phrase the question. "Why is it so awkward for us to be around each other? I mean, I'm I making it difficult for you to feel normal? Is it because I'm weird? What is it? I just, dunno." She looked down at her feet, now thinking of how stupid the question sounded. "I'm sorry, just forget about it." Amika turned around and was about to start walking away.

"It's ok. It's because I like you." He said,

Amika
She stopped and looked up at him. "But... Why?" Right as the words escaped her mouth, she mentally bashed her head against a wall. Too many stupid questions were rolling off her tongue and de had no way of stopping them. She put her hand to her forehead and closed her eyes. "I'm sorry you don't have to answer that. I can't stop asking dumb questions."

She removed her hand from her head and looked down at the ground, biting her lower lip. She covered her mouth and closed her eyes again. "I'm sorry." She muttered through her covered mouth. She was laughing. "I'm sorry, I thought... Never mind, it's stupid." She hide her face mostly.

"What is it?" He asked.

She laughed a little bit again, covering her mouth. "I thought you liked Lilley." She had removed her hand to speak in a soft, quiet voice, and then replaced it as she tried not to laugh anymore. "I'm sorry, it's really not all that funny."
