"Oh okay." Ivy said. She walked over to wher Miles was standing. She handed him one of the pieces of rope. "So how do you make a snare?" she wondered.

Kaja tested to check if her bionics had broken in the crash, and after moving her arms a bit and giving the ground a few good punches she found nothing had broken. Which was great, she didn't want to have to deal with the dang things. Not now, at least. She still had a bandage on her wrists from a few weeks back when she had to fix something.
She looked around, just in case something decided to leap at her.

Miles

Miles took the rope and lifted it high. "I have hooks made already in the bag. You just need to tie the noose and help me set it up." He holds his rope in such a way that it's easy to view. "Take one for yourself and do as I do." He then, slowly and step by step, begins to tie the noose.

Ivy watched carefully as Miles showed her how to tie the rope. She bit her lip and tried to mimic what he did. She held out her finished snare for him to inspect. "Like that?"

Miles

Miles gives the noose a critical eye for a long moment, tugs slightly at it, then nods. "It should hold fine." He says finally, handing it and his noose to her. He reaches into his bag and pulls out 4 wooden hooks. "Then you use these to set the trap up."

((Do you mind if we skip this? I'd rather not have to recount the finer details of a hook snare. ^^"))

Miles stands aside, looking down at the finished snare, now laid over the plant, and nods slowly. "We can cover it up with leaves and I think we're good to go."

Ivy nodded. "Okay. I'll grab some leaves from one of the plants over here." She bent down and pulled off a few leaves and brought them over to Miles. "Here."

"Just scatter them over the rope." Miles instructs, gesturing to the trap. "We can come check it later to see if it caught anything."
