"I've got nothing else to do. Where might they be?"

Ivy took a deep breath and moved to get on the ladder. She followed Miles down, carefully putting her hands and feet on the next rung down. She continued to focus only on the ladder until she reached the bottom. Once she was safely back on the ground she let out a sigh of relief.

Mei

Mei pauses, a Kryalt moving in the tree nearby. She strings an arrow without pause, lifting her bow to level with the creature. Miles' voice shatters her concentration, and the thing disappears. She sighs. "This is why I hate hunting with you." She grumbles.

Miles

Miles, who had been congratulating Ivy on her climb, shrugs. "I'm more for big game hunts, you know that." Mei sighs. "Get the rope out of your bag." She says somberly, leaping from her perch.

Mikaelan

Mika gestures downward, to the floor below but more meaningfully to the forest floor far below that. "As I understand the huntress was leaving to search for prey. And I think another was searching for more easily gained food."

"I suppose I'll join them. If I can find them, that is."

Mikaelan

"If you need assistance navigating, please ask." Mika replied softly and moved out of the doorway to allow Kaja to pass. "They most likely haven't gone terribly far, I would think."

Ivy laughed. "If you keep scaring everything off I may not get the chance to learn how to hunt," she teased. She looked over at Mei. "What does he need the rope for?"

"Thanks." Kaja said with a nod, but she was a little busy checking if everything she kept was in her pack. She counted them multiple times, flying through the list she'd memorized well over the years, before closing it and slinging it over her shoulders.
She looked back up at the other before standing up again and leaving the room.

Miles & Mei

"Trapping." Mei said simply. Miles took off his bag, sifting through the bag for a long moment and then pulling out a long length of rope. He held it out for his sister obediently and she cut off a few strips of rope the thin rope, each about 5 feet. "Miles is better at making them than I am. He can teach you." Mei said simply, offering the strips to Ivy. "Sure. I can teach a simple snare." Miles said with a shrug.

Mikaelan

Mika waited politely for Kaja to pass and then moved to find Vadai. She called her clan mother's name softly.

Ivy took the strips of rope from Mei. She looked over to Miles. "Where are we going to set these up?" she asked. She bounced slightly in anticipation.

Mei

"I'm going to go scope out the area. Hopefully I can take some notes on the native fauna." Mei mutters, barely audible. She darts off, grabbing onto a low branch and pulling herself into the trees. She searches out any signs of native animals.

Miles

Miles rubs his jaw, looking around. "Well, uh, usually I'd set it around something my prey likes to eat but I've got no idea what the monkey-things like to eat." He looks around again, thoughtful, then shrugs. "We should wander a bit, see if we can find any plants that have been eaten off of."
