Callie squinted from under her white mask as she listened to the Plumie greet her. "Shh, mate, you'll give me away! Why d'you think I whispered," she hissed, giggling simultaneously as she turned to face the orange male. She knew that she could loosen up and not be judged when she was around her jokester friend. He, being very childish himself, didn't mind her acting even dorky around him. The Irish lady took note of his question, hesitating a moment before letting a small smile slip. "Well, I'm at a party, aren't I? I guess that's what I'm doing, at the moment."

Latte;
Latte walked through the door with Arida just in front of him, somewhat hesitant. The plumie was wearing a black tux with a blue tie to match his eyes. His mask was a little more fancy, a pale blue with darker blue streaks similar to those on his body. It covered half of his face, at least. Cocoa had been left at home; Someone was bound to recognize him with the brown ferret on his shoulder, though he somewhat regretted his decision. Already he missed her. I wonder if that mystery plumie will be here...? Those fudge cookies were nice... He blushed, grateful it was hidden by the mask. Sure, it was a tiny bit unnerving that they knew who he was but he didn't know them, but it was also somewhat flattering.

Arida;
Arida walked through the door, slightly ahead of Latte. She hadn't been to a social gathering in a while, not like they always ended out well for her. The hot headed plumie figured no-one would recognize her, so she hoped everything would be okay. Hopefully she wouldn't snap. She was wearing a fairly long silver/grey dress with a silver sequinned sash tied around the middle. It wasn't too poofy or heavy, which she was glad about. Her mask was also grey, pointing up at the tips and had a few blue feathers decorating the edges. I need to make some friends... I wonder if Alani counts me as a friend, after our encounter, and Mukesh is definitely one... A faint blush dusted her cheeks at the thought of the blind plumie, hidden by the mask. Shaking her head mentally, she continued forward.

Insidiae

Dae entered the ballroom, nervously straightening the sleeves of his beige jacket. Even though he wore a pale brown mask with blue and white details to conceal his identity, he still wanted to avoid attention. He hoped he was appropriately dressed with his simple beige suit and a plain brown necktie clipped to his pale blue shirt with a simple, silver tie clip. He had only come to observe people interacting with each other and had a small pencil and notepad concealed his jacket pocket. He had also, against his better judgement, had temporarily removed the flowers and roots that grew around his face. They had conflicted with the mask on his face. Dae had wanted to retreat to a secluded part of the room as soon as possible. He wandered idly looking for a place to sit and observe.

"That's such a vague answer though, 'at a party' could mean a lot of things. For example, what if you were at a birthday party? There's an unlimited amount of activities you could be doing. What if a tornado full of deer crashed the party? Wait... then it'd be a tornadoe," He stopped to laugh at his ow pun. Sure, Prosper has done much better than a slightly irrelevant pun, but he was still happy with it.

cassia pulled the edge of her put further up to cover the top of her knee. then she put
the pistol in its holster, a tightly buckled leather strap around her thigh. a dance for a job,
hah, that's amazingly assassin like . . . i wonder if this is the party mocha's going to . . .
cassia yawned and walked out of her condo, stepping lightly past mocha's room. her new
boots tread lightly, and don't take damage nearly as easy as her old ones. she liked that.
leaving the house, she hiked up her dress and sat on the leather cushion of her motorcycle,
driving to the location of the ball.
within two yards of the front doors, she pulled her cloth mask up her neck and over her
nose. hopefully, a lower-face mask is allowable, since that's what cassia wears on jobs any
ways. but, the hunt has now officially begun. cassia is now briar.

"Its nice. Im surprised Callie can pulled this off." Alani ate the last creampuff, and then looked around the room. Then Alani saw Latte. She could reconize him anyday. "Well, its nice meeting you Ari! We should hangout sometime!" Alani got up and started walking to Latte. Its a good thing that he cant tell who I am with my mask, hat, and dress. Alani got to Latte, and started talking to him. "Hi there!" She blushed a bit, "You've got a nice ferret there sir. Whats its name?" And Alani, being the weirdo she is, took her cap off quickly when he wasn't looking and took a fudge cookie out. She quickly put it back on. "Fudge cookie?" She smiled while looking at his amazing eyes.

Latte noticed someone come up to him, and turned in the direction. "Hello!" He waved goodbye to Arida over his shoulder as she walked off. Probably not wanting to stick around. He eyed the cookie for a second. Fudge cookie...? But... Mentally shaking any suspicions away, he took the cookie, smiling. "Thank you!" Grinning, he bit into the cookie, savoring the taste. The plumerian staring into his eyes only unnerved him slightly, considering he didn't recognize her... well, her own eyes seemed familiar, but the owner's name didn't come to mind. "Where did you get these from? They're very nice."

Benedict fiddle with his bow tie as he waited for the crowd around the drink stand to disappear. He figured he could have fiddled with his mask, which was fashioned in the shape of a raven, but he was afraid of loosening a feather. Glancing about, Benedict tried to find a dancing partner as a song started up. He panicked, reaching for the nearest arm he could grab, saying, "I'm so sorry but care to dance?"

Veronica let out a small yawn as a song began to start. She hadn't gotten much sleep the previous night, and had been feeling tired most of the day. Absentmindedly, she fixed the buttons on her suit, wondering if there was anyone here that she would be interested in talking too. She almost didn't notice when someone grabbed her arm, as she was so lost in thought. "Dance?" she repeated vaguely, "oh, of course. I would love too." Veronica gave the Plumerian a small smile, letting him lead her out onto the dance floor. I hope he's a good dancer, she thought, he does seem like the type though, almost like royalty.
