"I've always grown up in a happy family. Just me, my mom, and my dad, oh and our dog buddy and my cat Angie. We don't have the cat any more. Over the summer I was diagnosed with stage two Leukemia. No one really knows. That's why my hair is short by the way. Because I am currently going through Chemo therapy."

Ashley walked up to her locker. She sighed and looked down at the paper in her hand. She had her book bag slung over her shoulder and held onto it with her free hand. She also had one ear bud in and she had a beanie on with her short hair swept out of her face. Ashley stuffed the paper into her jacket pocket. She looked at her locker and started to open it, but it refused to open. She sighed and tried again then groaned as the locker refused to open.
