(I'm actually getting ready for bed as well, and reminder that I will be gone most of tomorrow. I'm totally fine with you guys moving ahead, I'll just jump in with a reply when I can.)

Ivy walked over to the table and at down in one of the seats where the native girl had indicated. She didn't say anything and waited for the food to be brought out.

((Sorry, I had gone to bed before you posted. ^^' The group made their way to the nesting tree; viewtopic.php?f=80&t=2407525&p=75915793&hilit=nest#p75915793 . They had to take a ladder at the trunk, as the lowest layer was a while up, and climbed to the dining hall; viewtopic.php?f=80&t=2407525&p=75919047&hilit=banquet#p75919047 . I believe that's about all, story wise. As a side note I also added two mostly ornamental species to the species post on page 1.))

Vadai watches as everyone takes a seat, she makes the signal for the food to be served

Nova sits down near his sister and Mika

Niami suddenly came to the realization that this is a different planet, "I hope they use forks here" she mumbled out quietly

Miles & Mei

Miles takes his seat in the middle of one side of the table and Mei takes the seat directly opposite. While the brother is all but bouncing in his seat at the idea of food, Mei runs her fingers over the wood of the table, examining the careful carvings with interest.

Mikaelan

Mika keeps her head down at the table to keep from staring unintentionally at anyone. When a few Destiree enter, carrying wooden trays filled to the brim with wooden bowls and carefully carved utensils, she snaps to attention, lifting her head to look in the direction of the servers.

Niami eyes light up at the sight of food, the smell was enough to make her mouth water she watched as they laid the food on the table

Nova put his elbows on the table resting his head on his hands only to get his elbows smacked by his sister telling him about table manners

Taking a seat next to a random castaway, Ender's blue orbs lit up at the sight of consumable. He sighed in anticipation; his belly rumbling from the walk to this place. The natives 'home' was truly amazing, and he had been taking pictures of almost everything he could.

Mei

Mei is handed a dish of colorful vegetation which she pokes with a 2 prong wooden "fork". She looks apprehensive at best.

Miles

At the other end of the table, Miles receives pale blue meat that the server calls Kryalt. He blinks and impales it with his fork, holding it up to examine it before taking a brave bite.

Mikaelan

Mikaelan wishes she could see the reactions of the strangers, but she stays quiet. She doesn't touch the food in front of her for a long moment, her lips moving in prayer, until finally she begins to eat her "salad.
