Savanna placed Lucifer on the ground. "Stay close," she whispered to the cub. "It's not safe yet."

Lucifer frowned, and grabbed on to savannah's leg "don't leave me" he says in a sad little voice

Flare took Zofarah carefully in her mouth, then gently set her on the ground. "Your mama will be down here soon," she said to the cub.

"Don't worry, I won't. Would you like me to carry you again?" She huffed.

Zofarah let out a little squeak as she was passed to the other lioness. She looked up at Flare, her little paws pulled close to her body.
