The Edge (Sci-Fi; Accepting)

Ivy made a face at Miles, then climbed onto the ladder. She focused on her hands and feet and on putting them on the rungs one after the other. She took deep breaths and tried to think about anything except how they were going higher and higher. She told herself she could make it.

Mei

Mei stands at the bottom, watching the progress of the climbers disinterestedly. She looks bored, it's a wonder she's waiting at the bottom at all, yet she continues to stand at the trunk of the tree.

Miles

Miles climbs up a reasonable distance behind Ivy. He doesn't say anything, but cheers the girl on in his head.

Mikaelan

Mika makes it to the 'banquet hall' before all the others; a long layer, spanning three trees, with a huge table within. The table is engraved with beautiful, intricate carvings centering around the sky god and the Destiree mythos. At either end of the table there are two great chairs, also carefully designed, one for the clan mother and one for the patriarch.

Vadai walks into the banquet hall waiting for the others to join she looked over a Mika with interest

Niami enters the room scanning it, all that is going on in her mind is food

Nova walks over to Mei, "Go on and head up, it's almost nightfall"

Ivy kept kept climbing her heart pounding. When she made it to the top she scrambled away from the ladder and stood for a second to try to calm down. She was sill high up, but at least inside she had the illusion that they were still on the ground. She took another deep breath before she walked over to join the others in the dining hall.

Mei

Mei looks around, examining the forest. After a moment she smiles, if darkly, at the native. "Going." She purrs and moves to the ladder.

Miles

Miles pulls himself up into the hall and pats Ivy softly on the shoulder, as if saying good job. Then he turns his full attention to his search for food...

Mikaelan

Mika rushes out of the hall for a moment and then quickly returns. "Our meal can be served whenever it pleases."

[Kankri Vantas]

Vadai smiles, "I believe it'd be best if we serve our guests now" she said glancing over at Miles and Niami

Nova glares at her as she climbs up the ladder, he waited a few moments before following

Niami stomach growled she perked up when she heard Mika's words, "for the love of everything heavenly, yes bring it out now!" she said slightly whining

Ivy stiffened at Miles' touch, but she quickly relaxed again. She watched as the native girl ran off and then returned announcing that the food could be served whenever. She hoped it would be soon; she was starting to get very hungry.

Mei

Mei climbs up to join the others in the hall, running her fingers through her hair. She watches Nova coming up the ladder and smiles, a friendly smile but clearly meant as a joking taunt, at him for the remainder of his climb.

Miles

Miles doesn't seem to notice Ivy's reaction to his touch because the idea of food excites him so. He rubs his hands together and starts toward the table.

Mikaelan

Mikaelan pokes her head through an archway, speaks with those on the other side of it, and then moves to her seat by the clan mother's head of the table where she settles in quietly. "Guests sit in the middle, please." She peeps softly.

Nova glares at her wishing he could could just kick all of them out to get eaten by the Mythrandalle, he smirks evilly at the thought
