"What would you do without me?" Miles asked, stretching his great arms as he walked. When he heard Niami's complaint he couldn't help but laugh softly. "I'd offer to carry you but that's usually a second date thing." He teased, smirking as he did.

Mikaelan

Mika followed the walking group, leaping from tree to tree in her strangely intuitive way, never slipping or missing a jump.

Vadai kept alert as they walked back, she kept an ear out for any danger

Niami looked over at Miles and shrugged, "I guess we'll need to go on a first date then a second so I have someone to carry me around"

Nova rolled his eyes at the two, these things were very annoying

Ivy laughed at Niami. "I believe if anyone is carried it will be since I'm the youngest one here." She gestured at herself. "I mean look at me. I'm practically still a child," she joked.

"Ladies, ladies, don't fight over me." Miles said with a chuckle, surprised at how light the conversation was in such a situation. Mei rolls her eyes. "They just want you for your body, brother." She purrs teasingly. "Fine by me." Miles smirks.

Mika listened to the strange words below with no small amount of confusion, but she stayed quiet.

Vadai turned her head and smiled lightly, "Don't worry we're almost there"

Niami looked at her with a raised eyebrow, "How old are you fifteen? When I was that age I was going around saying I was an adult....that was only 5 years ago" she mumbled the last part

Ivy raised an eyebrow. "Yeah I am fifteen. I'm impressed, people usually guess that I'm twelve," she said approvingly. "And I was joking about being a child, I generally don't like being called a kid."

Ender accepted her outstretched gift graciously, muting a quiet, "Thank you.." Taking the step, the man hobbled a few steps before setting off after the group again.

Miles & Mei

Miles rubs his neck. "Guess Mei and I are pretty old, then." Mei laughs at this. "I'm a wise age you, on the other hand, are a geezer." Miles cringes dramatically. "Darn, that hurt, sister. Your insults are scalding." Mei ignores her brother, instead monitoring Ender's walk. Whether kindness or plotting, she checks routinely to see if he's keeping up.

Mikaelan

Mika shakes her head at the strange creatures below. At the sight of her next, however, she grows excited. Dropping to the ground, she runs toward her home with unconstrained enthusiasm.

Vadai watches Mika run to home she smiled and shakes her head as they enter the nest

Niami smiles at Ivy, "I'll make a mental note to not call you kid, unless you're annoying"

Nova sighs happily as he spots his home

Miles & Mei

Mei stops at the foot of the nest, looking up into the great multilayer structure. Built into the trees, it's a mix of fortress and tree house, each layer glowing with fire light to ward of the darkness of night. Miles whistles, stopping at his sister's side. "Dang."

Mikaelan

Mika bounces in excitement, standing by the makeshift ladder the leads into the main support tree as she waits for the others. Her excitement chirps happiness at her home.
