Kita's WME Breeding Slot Competition

I am afraid I do not know how to make this look fancy or special, but this is my competition thread for the available breeding slots for my equids Hao, Shimmer and Marston.

If you would like to try out for one of their breeding slots please keep on reading!

Rules
~ Be polite to everyone
~ You will be judged on thought and effort put into your art/writing
~ You will be judged on which equid you want to breed them to, as well as which suggestions you may put forward.
~ All regular WME rules apply; for these please see the official adoption thread
~ Each of the equids below have some individual rules so please make sure to read them also.
~ No complaining if you do not win.
~ Each of the equids have a form, please copy the appropriate form!
~ I must approve the mare or stallion you wish to use, you can pm me them beforehand if you would like or post it in your form and I will pm you if it is alright or not.
~ WIP and Edited forms are perfectly alright
~ Art may have 1-3 pictures
~ Stories may be as long as you like, but please keep it below 2000 words ^^;
~ You may try out for two of these equids but if you win you will only a win slot with one of them
~ I must be the breeding artist for these guys. No exception.
~ Please note, I reserve the right to not give out a slot if I do not feel that there is anyone worthy of it.
~ If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!

~ His toothy-dino face/slit pupils does not get passed on to his offspring (It is unique to him as a dinoquid)
~ His sabino markings can be passed on, but it needs to be a little toned down in shape

Story:(written from Madrigal's pov)
Why did the desert have to be so blasted hot? And how in the world did I think it would be a good idea to cross the saguaro desert instead of going around it like a normal equid? Well, that would always be a mystery for me but what happened that day, I would never know if it was good luck or horrid karma.

"Hey" said a distant voice, why where they yelling at me from so far away? "Hey!" it said again gruffer and louder, "huh?" I croaked opening my heavy eyes, what greeted them was the disapproving skeletal face of a stallion who didn't seem to pleased to see me here. Wait, where was i exactly? and why was i sprawled out on some sand, slowly my memories came flowing back and sat up with a small groan. Thats right, i had wandered out into the Desert thinking it would be a short cut to some lush forests rumored to be on the other side. How stupid, can i get.

"What are you doing here?" growled the stallion, looking rather annoyed with a hint of anger, "Woah, Woah" I coughed weakly glaring back at him ,"You have no right to go around demanding why someone is passed out in the dessert" a grumpy emotion took over the stallions face and he grumbled," Yes, i do, cause' this is my desert" wow he really emphasized the word my....... "get up" he demanded, "wh...what!?" i spluttered crossly "you expect me to stand in this state?" "yes, yes i do" he said stubbornly. Jerking sand out of my mane i tried to jump to my hooves, but the shifting sand and my already weakened legs led to me face planting and getting a mouth full of tasteless grit.

I was already spent from trying that time, but being a suborn as i was i attempted once more, but to no avail, as it yielded the same results. The stallion stared at me like i was some pathetic foal trying to walk for the first time and i didn't take that to nicely, but didn't have the energy to rebel. Sighing the stallion leaned down and said,"Since it seems like theres no other way i'm going to have to help you up" moving to my side he put his muzzle beside my flank and said," on the count of three i'm going to hoist you ok? 1, 2, 3, " Before i complain he shoved his muzzle under my belly and without thinking i leapt up, him pushing and stabilizing me. next thing i knew i was standing, swaying and shaking, but standing none the less, must i say it was the most amazing feeling in the world.

As ecstatic as i was we couldn't rule out my heat exhaustion and i was quickly losing the strength to stand. beside me the stallion growled and wandered over saying," No way, we just got you up, theres no way i'm letting you crap out on me now, here lean on me," I grumbled in displeasure of having to lean on him, but it became evident pretty soon that i was incapable of standing, let along walking on my own. after some time of walking it occurred to me that we were actually going some where and my curiosity got the better of me,"Where are we going?" i asked quietly , not looking at me the stallion said, "some where to let you rest, then i can get you out of my desert" I wanted to shout profanities at him but my lungs didn't comply so i begrudgingly submitted myself to being led to some unknown place.

My vision was beginning to get blurry and unfocused, i don't know how long we had been trekking, but it had been long enough to get to the heat of the day and for me to feel like i was a zombie. All of a sudden the stallion halted and i almost fell on my face for the third time that day but from sheer determination i managed to keep my footing. "were here" said the gruff voice next to me, doing my best i focused and what appeared before me looked just as good as heaven right now. It was a really, really big puddle and a large shady tree. I stumbled over and collapsed beside the water, under the shade of the tree and lapped it up gratefully, actually lapped is a nice term, i gulled it down like i had never seen water in my life.

drinking gracefully next to me was the stallion, who didn't even seem winded or exhausted by the trip, so i decided to glare at him. he looked up to quizzically study my glare before returning to drinking, and knowing i wasn't getting anywhere i lay my head down and quickly felt sleep creeping up on me. out of curiosity i mumbled, not expecting to get a reply," You never told me your name" "oh" to my surprise said the fading voice,"Its Marston" "cool" i whispered," mine's Madrigal" and then i fell asleep.

When i woke up i felt 83% better, don't ask me why i picked that number, just, don't. It was dark out, not that i cared and looking to my right i saw Marston starring at me, lifting my head i said,"hey" but all he did was nod and get to his hooves. I didn't argue heaved myself up before starting to follow him, knowing that any argument would be futile and a waste of breath. I must say, the desert is much nicer to walk in when its dark, none of that blasted heat that nearly killed me, and it was quite. We had been walking most of the night when i saw something in the distance, a row of lush trees my ears perked and i picked up my pace a little, getting excited. Marston matched my trot, determined to see me out of his desert to witch i had invaded.

hitting the row of trees i smiled and turning exclaimed," Thank you!" his face was hard to read, but i think i saw a hint of smugness in it,so i stuck my tongue out at him. quickly regretting that i said gratefully," But seriously, thank you for saving my life, if you hadn't come i would have vulture picking out my eye balls right now, thank you Marston" He studied me for a few seconds before saying,"If you really want to thank me then don't come back and stay out of my Desert!" and with that he turned tail and left me gaping after him "Your A Jerk!" i shout after his retreating backside swearing that i caught a glimpse of a smile and turning tail myself i walked into the trees put out and grumpy, but happy to be alive.

(In total this is 1153 words.... i was busy today XD)
