Miles (& Mei)

Miles chuckles at Niami's difficulties, starting to explain to her, and then suddenly puts his hand on his sword and tilts his head, looking into the trees. He frowns, his eyes darkening, like a predator who suspects his territory is being encroached on. "Someone is watching us." He steps forward, toward the great trees, suspicious. "Relax, Miles. We'll deal with it when it comes." Mei mutters absently, still looking curiously at Ender. Miles relaxes his grip on his sword at his sister's words. "Fine. For now."

Mikaelan

"Ethaniel is out, mother Vadai." Mikaelan murmurs. "A scout should be sent to warn him, what if it was not thunder...?" Her eyebrows pull together and she looks worriedly at Vadai, like a small child seeking her mother's guidance.

[Kankri Vantas]

Vadai nodded, "Yes we should send a scout it is better safe then sorry" She went outside to look for a scout who was free

Nova stays in the shadows of the leaves, he narrows his eyes as one of the creatures takes out a weapon, he louds out a small growl, "I don't like them..." he mutters out loud, "What if they've come to hurt us?" he looks at them then to the direction of his home, "I need to protect sister..." he mumbled

Niami finally locates her prescription glasses luckily they change from indoor to outdoor, she let out a happy sigh as the world around her got a bit darker,

Midnight woke to a crash. He blinked open his eyes and sat up slowly, before beginning to creep towards the noise. Peeking out of some bushes, he saw some weird creatures standing by a large ship. He growled lightly and flicked his tail back and forth.

Miles

Miles looks into the forest for a moment longer before turning to face the group of misfit passengers. "What do we know about this place?"

Mikaelan

Mika swallows hard, looking in the direction of Vadai's footsteps. She doesn't move to follow, though, and after a moment returns to her patient, murmuring soothingly as she works to heal the deep, gash like scratches. "Be still, hunter," She purrs gently.

[Kankri Vantas]

Nova decided to confront these creatures, and if they didn't get along maybe they tasted good? He jumped down from his tree and slowly stalked to them staying in the shadows

Vadai located a scout she asked them to go find Ethaniel, the scout nodded and left

Niami sighed pulling out her phone trying to see if she could get any bars

Midnight slowly crept out of the bushes on his hands and knees, staying behind the humans. He curiously poked at ones leg before backing back into the bushes again.

Miles & Mei

Miles hears the rustling and pulls his blade, the mechanical contraption buzzing and whirring, almost as though it's frustrated. "What. Was. That?" He growls. Mei pries her eyes away from Ender's blood, her eyes locking on her brother's as she draws her own weapon. Her tattoos appear, if closely inspected, to move slightly.

Mikaelan

Mika closes her eyes, her patient now asleep, and wraps her arms around herself, her ears flattening. Her fear is tangible as the unease of the situation settles in.

Vadai walks back in the room, she let out a small sigh running her hand through her hair, "I sent a scout, I hope everything is okay"
she said softly

Nova sighed as he watched Midnight poke one, "they could carry illness, and he touches these THINGS!" he mutters out loud walking out to the creature

Niami looks away from her phone to see Nova walking towards them, "Oh my gosh! w-what is that?!" she said pointing a shaky finger at him

ender - male - human

As Ender pulled down his shirt to observe the wound on his shoulder, one could only watch as he prodded the bloody gash with his fingertips. As he did so, the line slowly zipped up, until not even a scare was showing. The process seemed to have taxed him, however, as he began to sway on his feet.

ethaniel - male - destiree patriarch

Wasting no time, the destiree began his advance back to the camp. He needed to know if his kin was safe first, before investigating the sound. Ethaniel prayed they were; that no one had gotten injured.

And yes, they are siblings. ]

Midnight growled when one pointed at him and another took out their weapon. When Raven came up behind him, it scared him so he let out a slight squeak and fell out of the bushes before quickly standing up.

Raven heard noises and started following her brother. She came up behind him and tapped his shoulder.
